History

Club football

Colombian Women's Football League is the highest tier of women's football in Colombia. ^{[9] [10] [11]}

National team

Since the 21st century, Colombia has seen an upsurge of success with the national team qualifying for multiple world cups and Olympics tournaments. ^{[12] [13] [14]}

The women's national teams greatest achievement was reaching quarter finals of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. ^[15] Colombia has also enjoyed success at youth level. ^{[16] [17]}
