Jackie Chan began his film career as an extra child actor in the 1962 film Big and Little Wong Tin Bar. The film was directed by Wilson Yip, and stars Donnie Yen as Ip Man, with martial arts choreography by Sammo Hung. The film was a co-production between China and Hong Kong, and was the last film to be distributed by Mandarin Films.

Ip Man 2 is a 2010 Hong Kong biographical martial arts film loosely based on the life of Ip Man, a grandmaster of the martial art Wing Chun. The film is the sequel to From Vegas to Macau. The third installment of the series, From Vegas to Macau III was released on February 8, 2016.
