He founded the Shaw Brothers Studio,one of the largest film production companies in Hong Kong,and TVB,the dominant television company in Hong Kong.

Fong Sai-yuk is a semi-fictional Chinese martial artist and folk hero from Zhaoqing City,Guangdong Province of the Qing dynasty. The story,spanning three decades from the 1970s to the 1990s in Hong Kong and Taiwan,addresses various social and financial phenomena of the times,from triad violence to corruption in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It featured a top roster cast,including veteran TVB actors Adam Cheng and Damian Lau and award-winning actor Sean Lau. Angie Cheong Wai-yee is a Hong Kong-based Malaysian Chinese actress. She won the Miss Chinese Malaysia in 1992 and went to Hong Kong to compete for the Miss Chinese International in 1993.
