Everyone except Becky, she goes to the Pretty Princess book signing across the street. But Mr. Botsford emphasizes how important it is that they spend the day as a family. In the middle of the convention, Becky's super hearing picks up the sound of Dr. Two-Brains' evil cackle from across the city.

WordGirl is an American animated children's superhero television series produced by the Soup2Nuts animation unit of Scholastic Entertainment for PBS Kids. The series began as a series of shorts entitled The Amazing Colossal Adventures of WordGirl that premiered on PBS Kids Go! on November 10, 2006, usually shown at the end of Maya & Miguel; the segment was then spun off into a new thirty-minute episodic series that premiered on September 3, 2007 to August 7, 2015 on most PBS member stations. The series of shorts consisted of thirty episodes, with 128 episodes in the full half-hour series and a film. WordGirl creator Dorothea Gillim felt that most children's animation "underestimated [children's] sense of humor" and hoped to create a more intellectual show for young audiences.

Learn To Read is a 1987 adult educational TV series that consists of 30 programs, hosted by entrepreneur and literacy advocate Wally Amos. Co-instructors include Doris Biscoe and Charlotte Scot. Caitlyn Jenner guest-starred on the first episode. The series was based on 27 million Americans having almost no reading skills. On Friday, there is a review of each week. The final program reviews the entire series. In every episode there is a "Getting Along" segment, either with Sylvia Glover or Jim Johnson as instructors. The program was televised on many PBS member stations, and syndicated to commercial stations. The program was seen locally on WXYZ-TV, generally weekday mornings at 5AM.
