Work of Heart is the self-produced fourth studio album of South African singer-songwriter and record producer Zonke. Released on 11 September 2015 through Sony Entertainment Africa., it is the follow-up of her gold-certified live album Give and Take Live . [1]
On 23 August 2015, Zonke announced the release date, pre-order link, track listing and cover art of the album. [2] Preceding the album's release were two singles titled "Reach It" and "Meet Me in My Dreams", the later a song she dedicated to her older sister Lulu Dikana. [3] [4] Work of Heart was nominated in two categories at the 15th Metro FM Music Awards and four categories at the 22nd South African Music Awards, winning one.
On 15 July 2016, the album was certified platinum. [5]
Upon its release, Work of Heart was met to positive critical reviews among local music critics. Lesley Mofokeng of SowetanLIVE gave the overall album production and songs an excellent verdict but however suggested that Zonke should experiment infusing some other genres of music in her upcoming projects. [6] Lebogang Boshomane, a music critic for SowetanLIVE gave the album 3.9 stars out of 5, further stating that, "All in all, it is a good album which will have you tearing up one moment then slowly moving to the beat the next". [6]

Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi known professionally as Kwesta, is a South African rapper and songwriter. Born in Katlehong, Gauteng, a township also known as "K1". In 2003, at the age of 15, he and his friends formed a rap group Ghetto Fellaz which then changed to The Juvenylz, same year. He is currently signed to his own independent media company known as RapLyf Records with co-founder Kid X.
The 22nd Annual South African Music Awards was held on 4 June 2016 at Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre, Durban, South Africa and was hosted by Somizi Mhlongo and Thando Thabethe. The nominees were announced on 21 April 2016 with Nathi, Emtee, Zonke Dikana, and Riky Rick topping the list with four nominations each. Nathi garnered the most awards with five while Black Coffee came closest by claiming four awards.

In September 2015, Zonke released Work of Heart, her fifth album, to critical acclaim with nominations in several categories at the 15th Metro FM Music Awards and 22nd South African Music Awards. She signed a record deal to Sony Music Entertainment in 2013. On 15 June 2018, she released L.O.V.E, her fifth studio album, with Sony.
Lungisa Dikana,, was a South African recording artist and vocalist. Her music career shot to limelight in 2008 following the release of her debut album My Diary, My Thoughts. She died on 3 December 2014 after a short illness.

"Feelings" is a song by South African singer Zonke from her third studio album Ina Ethe (2011). It was released as the parent record's second single on 12 July 2012 through TMP Entertainment. Solely written and produced by the singer herself, "Feelings" is a jazz song that is accompanied by a combination of African drums and beats. The single was nominated for "Record of the Year" at the 2013 South African Music Awards, but lost to "Kulungile Baba" by Sifiso Ncwane in the category.

Snova, commonly known by his former name Vusi Nova, is a South African singer. Born and raised in New Brighton, Gqeberha, Nova relocated to Johannesburg in 1998 at the age of 14 to pursue his career in music and signed a record deal with Muthaland Records, released Walk Into Light (2013) and Did It For Love (2014).
