The World Peace Gong is a symbol of world peace.

Function

The first striking of the World Peace Gong was by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E.Mrs Megawati Sukarnoputri, on Bali on 31 December 2002 at 00:00 Central Standard time. [1]

Other instruments include xylophones, bamboo flutes, a bowed instrument called a rebab, a zither-like instrument siter and vocalists named sindhen (female) or gerong (male).

Hinduism in Indonesia, as of the 2018 census, is practised by about 1.74% of the total population, and almost 87% of the population in Bali. Hinduism was the dominant religion in the country before the arrival of Islam and is one of the six official religions of Indonesia today. Hinduism came to Indonesia in the 1st-century through Indian traders, sailors, scholars and priests. A syncretic fusion of pre-existing Javanese folk religion, culture and Hindu ideas, that from the 6th-century also synthesized Buddhist ideas as well, evolved as the Indonesian version of Hinduism. These ideas continued to develop during the Srivijaya and Majapahit empires. Indonesian Idol Season Six is a continuation of the Indonesian Idol show in the year 2010. Indonesian Idol came back after a suspension in the year 2009. What is different in this season is the judge of this event is no longer Titi DJ and Indra, who was replaced by Erwin Gutawa and Agnes Monica. Formation of the judge changed to four persons, namely Erwin Gutawa who acts as chairman of the judge, Agnes Monica, Anang Hermansyah, and a guest judge. For the position of the host, remains entrusted to Daniel Mananta which will guide the event this year alone. This season, Indonesian Idol theme is "Be A Superstar". This is the last season where there is a male winner

Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia is a national beauty pageant in Indonesia that currently selects the winners to represent Indonesia in two international beauty pageants namely Miss Grand International and Miss Face of Humanity. Since 2020, The president of Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia Organization is Ivan Gunawan, Indonesian designer and entertainer. The first Miss Grand Indonesia Competition was held in 2018 by Yayasan Dharma Gantari. In April 2021, Yayasan Dunia Mega Bintang announced that they will send another Miss Grand Indonesia finalist to the Miss Face of Humanity 2021. The current titleholder is Andina Julie from South Sumatra as Miss Grand Indonesia 2022.

2022–23 Liga 3 is the seventh season of the Liga 3 under the current name and the eighth season under the current league structure, and the only amateur league football competition in Indonesia. The tournament is organized by Provincial Association of PSSI for the provincial round and PSSI central for the national round.
