The first memorials to the victims of the September 11 attacks in 2001 began to take shape online, as hundreds of webmasters posted their own thoughts, links to the Red Cross and other rescue agencies, photos, and eyewitness accounts. Numerous online September 11 memorials began appearing a few hours after the attacks, although many of these memorials were only temporary. Six World Trade Center was an eight-story building in Lower Manhattan in New York City. It opened in 1974 and was the building in the World Trade Center complex that had the fewest stories. Liberty Park is a one-acre (0.40 ha) elevated public park at the World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York City, overlooking the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in Lower Manhattan. The park, which opened on June 29, 2016, is located above the World Trade Center's Vehicular Security Center. The St. Nicholas National Shrine is located within the park, as well as Fritz Koenig's The Sphere, the iconic sculpture salvaged from the World Trade Center site. Another statue, America's Response Monument, is also located in the park.

The Brigade World Trade Center, Chennai is a 28-storeyed commercial and residential centre in Chennai, India. Located at Perungudi, it was made operational in March 2020. The centre consists of 170,000 square metres (1,800,000 sq ft) of office space. The complex also includes a conference/exhibition centre. The towers are IGBC LEED Platinum and USGBC LEED Gold certified. The centre is a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). The Tower A of the WTC complex is the tallest commercial establishment in the city.
The World Trade Center Bangalore (WTCB) is a building complex located in Malleswaram West, Bangalore, India, which was opened for operation in 2010. Built by Brigade Group who obtained the WTCA license for its construction, the building became the second World Trade Center in India after the one in Mumbai. At 128 m, the WTCB was the tallest commercial building in south India from 2010 till 2015 and the tallest building in Bangalore between 2010 and 2013. The building is part of an integrated enclave called "Brigade Gateway", along with Orion Mall, Manipal Hospital, Sheraton Hotel, Brigade School and Brigade Gateway Apartments.
