Marcel Everett (born October 31, 1995), [1] better known as XXYYXX, is an electronic musician and record producer from Orlando, Florida, formerly signed to the label Relief in Abstract.

His style is likened to Clams Casino, Zomby, Burial, James Blake and The Weeknd. His musical influences include Lapalux, Star Slinger, Disclosure and Shlohmo. [3]

Career

Everett released the 'Still Sound' mixtape in 2011. The next year at 16 years of age he would release his self-titled album, which included the hit 'About You' and gained him prominence within the indie music culture in late 2013. [1] [3] [4] [5]

Everett has remixed for artists such as Tinashe and Usher. [6] [7] [8] In 2014, he created the song "What We Want" for the video game Grand Theft Auto V . This song was included for the expanded soundtrack that was a part of the re-release of the game on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 systems. [9] He headlined the San Francisco Noise Pop Festival in February 2013. [4] [10]

In 2015, Everett released the single "Red", [11] about which he commented that "I was trying to express a feeling, and I got that more effectively". [5]

He spent the majority of 2016 touring the U.S., playing notable festival gigs such as Shambhala Festival, [12] Beach Goth, [13] Mysteryland, and Ancient Future. He was also credited on Tory Lanez's 2016 single "Flex", featured on his album I Told You. [14]

Samples from XXYYXX's tracks have been utilized by artists such as Chance the Rapper and SZA, and in 2017 Everett began producing additional music once more. [15]

RL Grime Musical artist

Henry Alfred Steinway, better known by his stage name RL Grime, is an American record producer and DJ. RL Grime specializes in trap and bass music and is a member of the Los Angeles electronic music collective WeDidIt. His debut Grapes EP was released in April 2012 on WeDidIt. RL Grime premiered his wildly popular Halloween mix in October 2012, which have continued to be released annually through 2021. His follow-up EP High Beams was released in July 2013 on Fool's Gold Records, which debuted at No. 8 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and No. 1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart. Paul Salva Jr., better known by his stage name Salva, is an American record producer based in Los Angeles, California. Known for his signature blend of Rap and Electronic music, Salva's remixes and bootlegs are some of the highest rotated amongst club and radio DJs worldwide. His remix of Kanye West's "Mercy" with RL Grime held the #1 most popular track on SoundCloud in June 2012, continuing to enjoy worldwide success and helping propel his artist career. Salva has since produced and collaborated with artists such as Young Thug, Future, Wiz Khalifa, E-40, DJ Shadow, Yuna, Boys Noize, has songwriting credit on the Grammy-nominated album Oxymoron by Schoolboy Q (TDE/Interscope) and music appearing in films such as the 2014 box office record-breaker Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Steven Zhu, known mononymously as Zhu, is an American electronic music producer and singer who has been active since the beginning of 2014, signed to Mind of a Genius Records. Until mid-2014, Zhu remained anonymous, asking to be judged by his music alone. His debut album, Generationwhy, was released on July 29, 2016 and first premiered at Coachella during his closing set in the Sahara Tent. Zhu's Coachella performance was praised, with a writer for the New York Observer suggesting that he could be "the next Daft Punk".

Tory Lanez Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter

Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson, known professionally as Tory Lanez, is a Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He received initial recognition from the mixtape Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013. In 2015, Tory Lanez signed to record producer Benny Blanco's Mad Love Records through Interscope Records.

Canadian recording artist Tory Lanez has released six studio albums, Twenty mixtapes, four extended plays (EP), eighty-nine singles and more than eighty music videos. In 2009, Lanez began his career by releasing his debut mixtape, T.L 2 T.O. He received major recognition from the mixtape, Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013, which included guest appearances from Roscoe Dash and Kirko Bangz. In 2014, he released Lost Cause which led to his first tour, the Lost Cause tour. Lanez collaborated with the WeDidIt collective on the Cruel Intentions EP in 2015. Lanez collaborated with RL Grime, Baauer, D33J and Shlohmo who are artists signed to WeDidIt Records. The album was supported by two singles, "In For It" and "Acting Like".

I Told You is the debut studio album by Canadian rapper Tory Lanez. It was released on August 19, 2016, through Mad Love Records and Interscope Records. Recording sessions took place from 2015 to 2016. The production on the album was contributed by Lanez, alongside several other record producers such as Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Frank Dukes, DJ Dahi, Pop Wansel and Noah Breakfast, among others.

"Trust Nobody" is a song by Norwegian DJ and record producer Cashmere Cat, featuring vocals by American singer Selena Gomez and Canadian singer Tory Lanez. Joyner Lucas American rapper

Gary Maurice "Joyner" Lucas Jr. is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. Lucas first received widespread exposure and critical acclaim after the release of his single "Ross Capicchioni" in 2015. In June 2017, he released his fourth mixtape, 508-507-2209, which was his first on a major label. In November 2017, Lucas released his single "I'm Not Racist", which quickly went viral, gaining him further mainstream attention. The video was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Music Video at the 61st Grammy Awards. Lucas was briefly signed to Atlantic Records, until he announced his departure from the label in December 2018. Senseless (song) 2018 single by Stefflon Don

"Senseless" is a song by British rapper Stefflon Don. It was released as a single through Polydor on 18 May 2018, peaking at number 63 on the UK Singles Chart chart. The song was written by Stefflon Don and Rymez, the latter of whom also produced the song. A remix, featuring Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, was released on 12 November 2018.
