Xavier Robinson is an American football running back for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Early life and high school

Robinson attended Carl Albert High School located in Oklahoma. [1] He had a breakout junior season, where he rushed for 2,594 rushing yards and over 40 total touchdowns. [2] Coming out of high school, Robinson was rated as a three-star recruit, where he held offers from schools such as Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. [3] [4] Ultimately, Robinson committed to play college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. [5] [6]

College career

In week ten of the 2024 season, Robinson rushed six times for 29 yards and a touchdown, while also hauling in a reception for 46 yards, as he helped the Sooners beat the Maine Black Bears. [7] In week eleven, Robinson had an increased role, where he ran nine times for 56 yards, while also making one catch for seven yards against the Missouri Tigers. [8] In week thirteen, Robinson had a breakout game, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries, which where all career highs for Robinson, as he helped the Sooners upset the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide. [9] For his performance, Robinson was named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) freshman of the week. [10]
