Mufid Bey Libohova was an Albanian economist, diplomat and politician and one of the delegates at the Assembly of Vlorë where the Albanian Declaration of Independence took place. He served as the first Minister of Interior of Albania, during the Provisional Government of Albania. He held different government positions on nine occasions between 1913–1927, holding the positions of Justice Minister, Minister of the Interior, Minister of Finances, and Minister of Culture.

Due to the success of his albums, he founded his own record label Authentic Entertainment.
Skifter Këlliçi, is an Albanian fiction writer, screenwriter, sports journalist, and radio & TV personality. He started the first radio program that broadcast live sports events in 1958 on Radio Televizioni Shqiptar, the Rubrika Sportive, a show that continues to this day, and later did the same on the Albanian television. He has been a successful screenwriter with movies such as Pas gjurmëve, winner of the international Giffoni Film Festival, Italy, in 1979.
Eva Murati is an Albanian actress and TV host. Starting her career at the age of 15, she made herself known in Albanian show business through appearances in commercials and modeling work.
The parliament of Kosovo held indirect elections for president of Kosovo on 3 and 4 April 2021. The elections successfully concluded after three rounds, with Vjosa Osmani winning 71 votes out of a total possible 120. Three political parties boycotted the vote. Nasuf Bejta, also a member of Guxo, the political party Osmani founded, was the only other candidate who received a vote during any of the other rounds.

Resulaj shooting is a mass shooting that occurred on 10 August 2018, at Resulaj, Selenicë, Vlorë County, Albania. Ritvan Zykaj shot 8 of his relatives using a Kalashnikov. After the shooting, he hid on a hill near the village and was caught by police the next day.
Për'puthen is an Albanian dating reality television series that premiered on 22 September 2019 on Top Channel. The series is created by Olsa Muhameti, directed by Erion Hasanllari, and currently presented by Megi Pojani; with the participation of Neda Balluku and Aulona Musta as the show's analysts/opinionists. The first season aired only on Sundays. Due to its success, from the second season it started broadcasting five days a week, from Monday to Friday.
The 2022–23 season was Tirana's 93rd season in their history of the Albanian Superliga and came in as the defending champions. Along with the Superliga, the club was also participated in the Albanian Supercup, Albanian Cup, and the Champions League qualifying stage. The season began in August 2022 and ended in May 2023.

Jusuf Reçi was an Albanian Miller born in Tirana, Albania to the Reçi tribe and he is known for assassinating Avni Rustemi, an Albanian activist, on the 20th of April 1924. Avni's death gave rise to the anti-government demonstrations that led to the June Revolution.
