Kurt Erik Nilsen is a Norwegian pop/country singer. He won the first season of the Norwegian reality show Idol, which aired on TV 2 in May 2003. He then won a one-off international version of Pop Idol called World Idol on 1 January 2004, featuring winners of the various national Idol shows.
Beatservice Records is a Norwegian record label releasing electronic music. It was initiated by Vidar Hanssen who was DJing for a local student radio with the program The Beatservice Radio Show at the time. Beatservice Records have released music ranging from minimalistic ambient via house and experimental techno to drum and bass. The label was an important factor in the mid-to-late 1990s popularity of the Tromsø based electronic music scene, both in Norway and elsewhere.

Lindstrøm won a Spellemannsprisen in 2008 for Where You Go I Go Too. He released a DJ mix album for the Late Night Tales compilation series on Azuli Records on 9 July 2007.
