Xue Yanzhong (Chinese :薛延忠) (born February 1954) is a People's Republic of China politician. He was born in Xiaoyi, Shanxi. He was an alternate members of the 17th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.
In April 2008 he was named deputy party chief of Shanxi. In January 2009, he became the chairman of the Shanxi People's Political Consultative Conference. [1]
The Xueyantuo tribe were an ancient Tiele Turkic people and khaganate in Northeast Asia who were at one point vassals of the Göktürks, later aligning with China's Tang Dynasty against the Eastern Göktürks.
The Shatuo, or the Shatuo Turks were a Turkic tribe that heavily influenced northern Chinese politics from the late ninth century through the tenth century. He served as Shanxi Governor until December 2012, when he was transferred to Inner Mongolia to serve as party chief there. He left active politics in August 2016.

Born in Shenyang, Li spent much of his early career in Guangdong province, including as mayor, then party secretary of Shenzhen. He was transferred to Hubei province in 2007 and would go on to serve as Governor and party secretary there.

Zhang Yanlang was an official of the Chinese Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period states Later Liang and Later Tang. He had his most powerful positions during the reign of Later Tang's last emperor Li Congke, as both chancellor and the director of the three financial agencies. After Li Congke was overthrown by his brother-in-law Shi Jingtang, who established his own Later Jin, Shi ordered Zhang be put to death.
Ling Zhengce is a former Chinese politician from Shanxi province. From 2008 to 2014 Ling served as the vice-chairman of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and prior to that the director of Shanxi Development and Reform Commission. Alongside Ling Jihua, he was removed from office in 2014 and charged with corruption, bribery, and graft. Ling Zhengce was then sentenced to twelve and a half years in prison.
