Yamini Ghantasala

Yamini Ghantasala is an Indian playback singer who works in Telugu and Tamil films. She is the sister of popular music director Thaman S. Ghantasala started with song Aagayamey in movie called Yaanum Theeyavan in 2016. After that, she recorded ‘Yemaindi’ in Telugu for movie Rangula Raatnam in Telugu. She also recorded Gira Gira for the film Dear Comrade. [1] [2]

Times of India said about her Song Gira Gira "Yamini’s enticing vocals, with her nailing the local yasa, are a major draw for this number." [3]

Yamini is currently a contestant in the Super Singer Season 10, an Indian Tamil-language reality television singing competition show, hosted by Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande. [4] Yamini is currently competing against 20 other contestants in Super Singer Season 10. [5]

<i>Dear Comrade</i> (soundtrack) 2019 soundtrack album by Justin Prabhakaran

Dear Comrade is the soundtrack album for the 2019 Telugu-language action drama film of the same name written and directed by Bharat Kamma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Yash Rangineni, starring Vijay Devarakonda, Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, in his debut Telugu film. The film's soundtrack was released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Lyrics were written by Rehman, Chaitanya Prasad and Krishna Kanth for Telugu, Karthik Netha, Viveka, Mohan Rajan, Stony Psyko, Dope Daddy and Justin Prabhakaran for Tamil, Joe Paul and Dhananjay Ranjan for Malayalam and Kannada languages respectively.

SIIMA Award for Best Female Playback Singer – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for the best singing by a female playback singer/vocalist of a Telugu-language song. The award was first given in 2012 for songs and films released in 2011.
