Yanina Aguilar

Yanina Aguilar (born February 15, 1977) is a beach volleyball player from Costa Rica, who played at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games playing with Nathalia Alfaro [1] finishing 8th.

At her home country, she won five beach volleyball Championships, between 1995 and 2004. [2]

She played Indoor Volleyball with her National Team at the 2006 Pan American Cup. [3]

Tourism in Costa Rica has been one of the fastest growing economic sectors of the country and by 1995 became the largest foreign exchange earner. Since 1999, tourism has earned more foreign exchange than bananas, pineapples and coffee exports combined. The tourism boom began in 1987, with the number of visitors up from 329,000 in 1988, through 1.03 million in 1999, over 2 million in 2008, to a historical record of 2.66 million foreign visitors in 2015. Diana Karina Estrada Santana is a female beach volleyball player from Mexico, who won the gold medal in the women's beach team competition at the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit 2008 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, partnering Martha Revuelta. Later, in September 2008, she competed with her sister Paola Estrada, at the Internacional de Puerto Vallarta Beach Volleyball Tournament in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, winning the Bronze medal.
