Yaseen Valli (born 3 June 1995) is a South African cricketer. [1] He was part of South Africa's squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was included in the Gauteng cricket team for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. [2]
In June 2018, he was named in the squad for the Highveld Lions team for the 2018–19 season. [3] In September 2019, he was named in Easterns' squad for the 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup. [4] In January 2020, in the 2019–20 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup match against Boland, Valli and Andrea Agathangelou made an opening partnership of 485 runs, breaking the previous record in a first-class match in South Africa of 424 runs set in the 1926–27 season. [5] In April 2021, he was named in South Western Districts' squad, ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa. [6]
Craig John Alexander is a cricketer. He played in the 2004 and 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cups and plays first-class cricket for Dolphins. Alexander previously played 5 seasons for Lions but moved to the Dolphins in 2012. He bowls right-arm fast and bats in the lower order. Temba Bavuma is a South African international cricketer who is the current captain of the South African cricket team in Tests and ODI cricket, and formerly captained in T20I. He is now predominantly a right-handed opening batsman. He was the first black African cricketer to make a Test century for South Africa and the first to captain the side. Bavuma is one of three South African cricketers to score a century on ODI debut, scoring 113 runs against Ireland in September 2016.
Dominic Andrew Hendricks is a South African cricketer who played for Gauteng. A left-handed batsman, Hendricks has also represented South Africa U19. Hendricks made his List A debut for Gauteng on his 19th birthday, making a half century at quicker than a run a ball. His first appearance for South Africa U19 came just over a month later, as he opened the batting against Sri Lanka U19 in the South Africa Tri-Nation U-19 tournament. He scored 66 of an opening partnership of 119 that helped set up a South African victory. South Africa took the same squad to the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Hendricks scored a century and three fifties during the tournament to finish as the leading run-scorer in the competition. He was included in the Gauteng cricket team for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup.
Andrea Agathangelou is a South African former cricketer who played for the Titans. He qualified to play English county cricket as a non-overseas player courtesy of his Cypriot passport, which he has through his father's side. His father is from Cyprus and emigrated to South Africa. In October 2020, Agathangelou announced his retirement from cricket.
Ferisco Devon Adams is a South African cricketer who currently plays for Boland. He is a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler. Adams made his first-class debut on 1 March 2012 against Gauteng. He was included in the Boland cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup.
