Yashmith (born 30 June 1985) is an Indian film actor who works in the Tamil film industry. [1]

Career

Yashmith earned a bachelor's degree in Electronic Media from SRM Arts & Science College, Chennai. He worked as a smoke artist for more than two-hundred films. He worked on the first season of Kalaignar TV's Naalaiya Iyakkunar as an editor. He made his film debut with Irandam Ulagam (2013). However, his role in the film was cut short. [2]

He starred in the horror, suspense thriller movie Yoogan (2015), directed by Kamal G. [3] In 2016, he was noticed for featuring in a cover of "Chillena" from Raja Rani (2013). [4] Regarding his performance in the multistarrer Yentha Nerathilum (2017), a critic wrote that "Yashmith, though has a limited scope does a clean work". [5] One critic wrote that "Yashmith's role too is important to proceedings of the story and he has done a decent job" whilst another said that "His performance is also welcome". [6] [7]
