Yellow is a Bangladesh-based fashion brand and clothing retailer owned by Beximco. [1] Its corporate headquarters is located at Beximco Industrial Park, Dhaka, Bangladesh. [2] The largest of the Yellow stores are located in Bashundhara City Shopping Complex, Sanmar Ocean City Chittagong and Jamuna Future Park with other outlets at Banani, Gulshan, Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Uttara, Bailey Road, Wari and Maghbazar. There are several stores located in Pakistan. [3] [4] [5] In 2014, Beximco announced the opening of new outlets in Dubai, Toronto, and New York City.
Beximco Luxury Lawn was launched in 2014 by Beximco, dedicated only to Women's clothing. [6] Dubai will be the first overseas outlet to get the clothing line.
Yellow has announced multiple collaborations with international brands like Marvel, Disney and Star Wars. [7] It is the first Bangladeshi fashion brand to do such collaboration. Yellow has also collaborated with the Japanese trading company ITOCHU, introducing the backpack brand 'Outdoor Products' to the Bangladeshi market. [8]
In 2014, Beximco announced the opening of 102 Outlets in Bangladesh and several in Dubai, New York City, and Toronto in early 2015 and Seoul in mid-2015. [9]
GMG Airlines was an airline in Bangladesh. It was the country's first, and until recently, the largest private airline having been established in 1997, with its head office close to Dhaka airport in Nikunja-2 Dhaka, Bangladesh. It operated both domestic and international flights. Its primary hub was Shahjalal International Airport, located in Dhaka. In 2009 Beximco Group bought a major stake in GMG Airlines. In October 2012, India provided a temporary maintenance and operational base at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. With no overseas assets, by 2012 GMG Airlines' only international flights were to Kathmandu, Nepal. On 28 March 2012, GMG announced suspension of operations pending acquisition of new fleet. It expected to resume operations later in 2012 but has remained suspended well into 2019. The company slogan was Explore.

Khadi, derived from khaddar, is a hand-spun and woven natural fibre cloth promoted by Mahatma Gandhi as swadeshi (self-sufficiency) for the freedom struggle of the Indian subcontinent, and the term is used throughout India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The first piece of the hand-woven cloth was manufactured in the Sabarmati Ashram during 1917–18. The coarseness of the cloth led Gandhi to call it khadi. The cloth is made from cotton, but it may also include silk or wool, which are all spun into yarn on a charkha. It is a versatile fabric that remains cool in summer and warm in winter. To improve its appearance, khadi is sometimes starched to give it a stiffer feel. It is widely accepted in various fashion circles.
