Ynhanfu is an organization, working in researching and promoting traditional Chinese clothing Hanfu, which was founded in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China in 2002. The goal of Ynhanfu is to promote Chinese traditional clothing hanfu to the society. Ynhanfu only had eight members at the very beginning.
Ynhanfu promotes Chinese culture, traditional clothing to the community, [1] also held a lot of major Chinese traditional festivals celebrations in Kunming: the traditional Dragon Boat Festival, [2] Tanabata Festival, [3] and Mid-Autumn Festival. At the same time the traditional Chinese ritual activities: Worship of Confucius, [4] weddings, mitzvahs and the beginning ceremony. And Yunnan also gives lectures of Chinese culture, Hanfu in many University.
Ynhanfu donations clothing [5] and medicines to children in China earthquake, also transports a large number of drinking water in arid regions, Funding student groups to do the traditional cultural activities.
In February 2010, Ynhanfu shot a historical drama "Seoul Xue Wang". [6]
Yunnan is an inland province in Southwestern China. The province spans approximately 394,000 km2 (152,000 sq mi) and has a population of 47.2 million. The capital of the province is Kunming. The province borders the Chinese provinces of Guizhou, Sichuan, autonomous regions of Guangxi and Tibet, as well as Southeast Asian countries Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, and Laos. Hanfu Movement, also known as the Hanfu Revival Movement, is a homegrown, grassroots cultural movement seeking to revive or revitalize Han Chinese fashion. It finds its manifestation in the wearing in public of the traditional Han attire of pre-Qing era. It began as the elegant pastime of a historically-conscious subculture and has evolved into a trendy nationwide movement boasting millions of young consumers and led by fashion-conscious youth. It has also slowly gained traction amongst the overseas Chinese diaspora, especially in countries like Singapore.
Yunnan Baiyao is a proprietary traditional Chinese medicine marketed and used as a hemostatic product in both human and veterinary alternative medicine. Although Yunnan Baiyao has long been recognized as a pharmaceutical preparation in China, the safety and efficacy of Yunnan Baiyao has not been assessed or established by the FDA, the European Medicines Agency, or the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration. There is limited evidence regarding its effectiveness in preventing and treating hemorrhagic and pathological conditions in both humans and animals via oral administration. In a limited number of human studies of small sample sizes, administration of Yunnan Baiyao has been shown to correlate with "reduced perioperative bleeding as well as bleeding in various ulcerative–hemorrhagic conditions". It has become popular particularly for animals with hemangiosarcoma. There are multiple routes of drug administration. Yunnan Baiyao is sold in powder, tincture, plaster, paste, aerosol, or tablet form. The medicine, developed by Qu Huangzhang in 1902, is designated as one of two Class-1 protected traditional Chinese medicines, which gives it 20 years of trade protection in China. Yunnan Baiyao products are manufactured and distributed by a state-owned enterprise, Yunnan Baiyao Group in Yunnan, China.
Xishan District is one of seven districts of the prefecture-level city of Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province, Southwest China.
The Yunnan–Haiphong railway is an 855 km (531 mi) railway built by France from 1904 to 1910, connecting Haiphong, Vietnam, with Kunming, Yunnan province, China. The section within China from Kunming to Hekou is known as the Kunming–Hekou railway, and is 466 km (290 mi) long. The section within Vietnam is 389 km (242 mi) long, and is known as the Hanoi–Lào Cai railway. The railway was built with 1,000 mm gauge due to the mountainous terrain along the route. Currently it is the only main line in China using 1,000 mmmetre gauge.
Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County is an autonomous county located in the central part of Yunnan Province, China. It is the westernmost county-level division of the prefecture-level city of Yuxi.
The 1970 Tonghai earthquake occurred at 01:00:41 local time on January 5 with a moment magnitude of 7.1 and a maximum Mercalli intensity of X (Extreme). The strike-slip rupture originated on the Red River Fault, which had not experienced an earthquake above magnitude 7 since 1700, and affected Tonghai County, Yunnan province, China. At least 10,000 people were killed, making it one of the deadliest in its decade. The tremor caused between US$5 and $25 million in damage, felt over an area of 8,781 km2 (3,390 sq mi). In Hanoi, North Vietnam, almost 483 km (300 mi) from the epicenter, victims left their homes as the rupture rumbled through the city.
The Yunnan hide-and-seek incident also called the 208 case (208案件) was a case where a man was taken into police custody in Jinning, Yunnan, People's Republic of China in 2009 and mysteriously died a few days later. He was reported to have died from playing hide and seek, though netizens claim he was beaten to death by the police. The case was later closed with three suspects receiving different sentences.

The Kunming–Singapore railway, also referred to as the Pan-Asian Railway, is a network of railways that connects China, Singapore and all the countries of mainland Southeast Asia. The concept originated with the British and French colonial empires, which sought to link the railways they had built in southwest China, Indochina and Malaya, but international conflicts in the 20th century kept regional railways fragmented. The idea was formally revived in October 2006 when 18 Asian and Eurasian countries signed the Trans-Asian railway Network Agreement, which incorporated the Kunming–Singapore railway into the Trans-Asian railway network.
The Nanning–Kunming railway, or Nankun railway, is a single-track electrified railway in Southwest China between Nanning and Kunming, provincial capitals, respectively, of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Yunnan Province. The railway was built from December 24, 1990, to March 18, 1997, and has a total length of 898.7 km (558 mi), including the main line of 863.04 km (536 mi) between Nanning and Kunming and a branch line from Weishe Township of Xingyi City to Hongguo Township of Liupanshui municipality, in Guizhou province. The Nankun Railway is a major rail conduit in Southwest China. Major cities and towns along route include Nanning, Baise, Xingyi, Luoping and Kunming.
Hanfu, are the traditional styles of clothing worn by the Han Chinese since the 2nd millennium BCE. There are several representative styles of hanfu, such as the ruqun, the aoqun, the beizi and the shenyi, and the shanku.
The Yuxi–Mohan railway or Yumo railway, is the Chinese section of the Lao–China Railway (LCR) in Yunnan Province of southwest China. The line runs 503.9 km (313 mi) from Yuxi in central Yunnan to Mohan, a town in Mengla County on the border with Laos in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture of southern Yunnan. The Yumo railway is designed to "provide efficient, safe, low-carbon, affordable, railway transport" within Yunnan Province.
On 1 March 2014, a group of 8 knife-wielding terrorists attacked passengers in the Kunming Railway Station in Kunming, Yunnan, China, killing 31 people, and wounding 143 others. The attackers pulled out long-bladed knives and stabbed and slashed passengers at random. Four assailants were shot to death by police on the spot and one injured perpetrator was captured. Police announced on 3 March that the six-man, two-woman group had been neutralized after the arrest of three remaining suspects. As of 2024, it is the worst mass stabbing in Chinese history.
Changsha–Kunming high-speed railway is a China Railway High-speed line connecting Changsha and Kunming, respectively the provincial capitals of Hunan and Yunnan. It is the western end of a larger rail project, the Shanghai–Kunming high-speed railway, which is one of the Ministry of Railways's strategic four east–west high-speed railways, and an integral part of the long-term railway network plan.
The Kunming–Yuxi–Hekou railway is a standard-gauge railway in Yunnan Province of China, linking the provincial capital Kunming with the town of Hekou on the Vietnamese border. Constructed in several stages between 1989 and 2014, the Kunming–Yuxi–Hekou railway has largely replaced the Chinese section of the old metre-gauge Kunming–Haiphong railway for normal passenger and cargo transportation. The line is electrified, but single-tracked over most of its length.
