Abayomi Sunday Benjamin Awoniyi (born 4 September 1960) [1] is a Nigerian architect and politician who served as the deputy governor of Kogi State from 2012 to 2016. [2] [3] [4]

Primaries were held between 4 April and 9 June 2022.

Salifu Joel Oyibo is a Nigerian teacher and politician who has served as the deputy governor of Kogi State since 2024. He was selected by Ahmed Usman Ododo as his running mate under the platform of the All Progressive Congress in the 2023 Kogi State gubernatorial election.
