Bauhaus is an English rock band, formed in Northampton, England, in 1978. The group consists of Daniel Ash, Peter Murphy, Kevin Haskins (drums) and David J (bass). The band was originally named Bauhaus 1919 in reference to the first operating year of the German art school Bauhaus, although they shortened the name within a year of formation. One of the pioneers of gothic rock, Bauhaus were known for their dark image and gloomy sound, although they mixed many genres, including dub, glam rock, psychedelia, and funk.
Gothic rock is a style of rock music that emerged from post-punk in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s. The first post-punk bands which shifted toward dark music with gothic overtones include Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Bauhaus, and the Cure.
Dead Can Dance is an Australian music duo first established in Melbourne. Currently composed of Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry, the group formed in 1981. They relocated to London the following year. Australian music historian Ian McFarlane described Dead Can Dance's style as "constructed soundscapes of mesmerising grandeur and solemn beauty; African polyrhythms, Gaelic folk, Gregorian chant, Middle Eastern music, mantras, and art rock."
"Bela Lugosi's Dead" is a song by the English post-punk band Bauhaus. It was the band's first single, released on 6 August 1979 by record label Small Wonder. It is often considered the first gothic rock record.
Razed in Black is an electronic music act created by Romell Regulacion and was supported in live performances by band members Chris Nelson and Raj Kapololu. The band was formed in Hawaii in 1994 and signed to Cleopatra Records in the following year, before later moving to Jacksonville, Florida. Razed in Black's music combines elements of industrial, synthpop, dark wave, gothic rock, and hardcore techno.
David John Haskins, better known as David J, is a British alternative rock musician, producer, and writer. He is the bassist for the gothic rock band Bauhaus and for Love and Rockets.

Fantastic Wounds is the second studio album by Seattle horror punk band Schoolyard Heroes. Like the band's first album The Funeral Sciences, it was released through the record label The Control Group. Following the band's first release, they had generated success with the underground Seattle rock scene and had secured a small cult following, largely due to the reputation they had built from their concert tour with Vendetta Red.

Darling Violetta is an American dark wave band based in Hollywood, California, United States. Their name is taken from the salutation used by Bela Lugosi in letters to his mistress, Violetta Napierska. The band released their first EP Bath-Water-Flowers in 1997, though this work is commonly considered an album by most sources. Two songs were performed by the band in the episode "Faith, Hope & Trick" of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Blue Sun" from Bath-Water-Flowers and "Cure" from The Kill You EP. The following year, the band, with producer Holly Knight, composed and recorded the theme for Angel, the spinoff series from Buffy.

Human Drama is an American alternative rock band led by singer/songwriter Johnny Indovina, formed in 1985. The band released six studio albums before splitting in 2005. They reformed for concerts in 2011 and 2012, and again in 2015. In 2017 they released their 1st studio album in 15 years, Broken Songs for Broken People featuring the singles/videos "Rain On Me", "The Liar Inside" and "Like This One". Broken Songs was followed by series of singles in 2019-2020, and a full length album "Blurred Images" in April 2021 on Sunset Blvd. Records.
Dúné [Dew-nay] were a Danish rock band from Skive. At their split-up in 2018 the band consisted of Mattias Kolstrup, Piotrek Wasilewski, and Ole Bjórn. Their style was comparable to British and American electronic rock and resembles elements of 1980s pop music and 1970s post-punk blend with a distinct and modern Scandinavian touch. The band was best known for their entertaining and energetic live performances.

Screaming Banshee Aircrew were an English rock band originating from York. Their varied music appealed to the Gothic scene, and their energetic performances attracted many fans across the UK. They were disbanded in July 2010, and many of the band members went on to join other bands.
Vampires Everywhere! is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The last lineup consisted of Michael Vampire (vocals), Matti Hoffman and Grey Soto. In 2021, the lead singer Michael Vampire reformed the group and the band signed with Cleopatra Records, releasing "Witch", single from their second EP The Awakening, released in October 2021. The band also announced a new series of tour dates in the fall of 2021. Their name was taken from the film The Lost Boys.
Cyanotic is a Chicago-based industrial rock collective fronted by Sean Payne that formed in 2002 and released its first full-length album in 2005. Cyanotic is known for its genre-blending work, which fuses traditional industrial beats and vocals with drum n bass, sampling and heavy metal to create a hard, aggressive sound. The band's lyrics contain many tongue-in-cheek references to transhumanism.

More Machine Than Man has independently released three full-length albums. More Machine Than Man released one EP on the label Underground Inc. and one album on Black Flames Records.
The Gothsicles is an American industrial and electronic body music (EBM) band formerly based out of Chicago, Illinois before moving to Boston, Massachusetts in 2018. The group was formed in Wisconsin in 2002 by Brian "darkNES" Graupner, who handles vocals and synthesizers, and is the sole consistent member. The band has a rotating lineup of live musicians, including Matt Fanale of Caustic, Matt Slegel of Angelspit, and David Dodson of Abstinence. The band released its first LP, NESferatu, in 2006. Following albums included Sega Lugosi's Dead (2009), Industrialites & Magic (2011), Squid Icarus (2014), and I Feel Sicle, which was released on November 4, 2016. According to COMA Music Magazine, "The Gothsicles are one of the forerunners in Industrial Music for the Nerdy Masses."
