Youlin Magazine, stylized as YOULIN Magazine, is a Pakistani and Chinese cultural monthly online magazine founded in February 2012. It is published in English and Chinese languages.

History

YOULIN was jointly established by the Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) and the Cultural Exchange Association of Xinjiang on 17 February 2012. Dr. Dushka Sayed is its first and present editor. The magazine publishes news, analyses, reports, and reviews on theatre, music, fashion, food, literature, television, film, travel, sports, art, architecture, and philanthropy from both Pakistani and Chinese sources. The name Youlin literally means 'good neighbors' in Chinese. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Tehrik-e-Niswan is a women's organization in Pakistan. Tehrik-e-Niswan was formed in 1979 in Karachi, Sindh by Sheema Kermani. Tehrik-e-Niswan was founded in 1979 to use the performing arts as a medium for giving Rights messages to working class women and the marginalized communities. Soon after its formation, in 1980, Zia-ul-Haq’s regime, banned the dance performances, Tehrik used performances as a medium for spreading the message of peace, equality and harmony for women.

Naseer & Shahab is a Pakistani soft alternative rock band from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Formed in 2010, the band rose to stardom with their debut single "Za Pukhtoon Yam". The band is a duo of Naseer Afridi, who is a lead vocalist, musician and songwriter, and Shahab Qamar, a producer, director and web designer. Chalay Thay Saath is a 2017 Pakistani romance film directed by Umer Adil with producer Beenish Umer & Executive Producer Sheikh Shiraz Mubashir starring Syra Shehroz, Osama Tahir, Zhalay Sarhadi, Behroze Sabzwari, Mansha Pasha, Faris Khalid, Kent S. Leung, Shamim Hilaly and Sherbaaz Kaleem. It is executively produced by Sheikh Shiraz Mubashir. The film was released on 21 April 2017.

Nadia Jamil is a Pakistani actress and host. Jamil started her career in late 1990s and has appeared in several television productions since than. Besides television, she has works in theater as well. Her television appearances include Dhoop Mein Sawan (1998), Mere Paas Paas (2005), Meri Jaan (2009), Behadd (2013) and Damsa (2019). Her accolades include three nominations of Lux Style Awards.

Amna Mawaz Khan is a Pakistani classical dancer of Bharatnatyam, theatre artist, feminist and political worker. She is founding member of Women Democratic Front.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">TDF Ghar</span> Museum and meeting place in Karachi, Pakistan

The TDF Ghar is an informal learning space situated in Karachi, Pakistan. It’s a house constructed in the 1930s and restored as a living museum. The Dawood Foundation (TDF) has retained the heritage architectural features of the house to preserve the living style of the past residents of cosmopolitan Karachi.
