Young Soldierz was an American rap group formed by members of the Bloods & Crips recording project.
Young Soldierz came together during the making of the Bloods & Crips project called Bangin' on Wax on Dangerous Records, selling 500,000 copies.[ citation needed ] During this success the group was formed by members Big Wy, Dog, Pops and Lil' Stretch and released their only self-titled a "Young Soldierz" album in 1993 along with two hit singles titled "If Tomorrow Comes" and "Alligator".[ citation needed ]
While still making music with the Bloods and Crips for the second album titled Bangin' on Wax 2... The Saga Continues (selling 400,000 copies), they met Death Row Records' co-founder Suge Knight and eventually signing to Death Row Records.[ citation needed ] The group was featured on the original soundtrack from Murder Was the Case in 1994 and Gang Related in 1997. When Death Row Records was struggling the group broke up in 1998, while the group departed ways Big Wy and Dog (now Suga Buga) recorded the last album How Deep Is Your Hood with the Damu Ridas and continued to rap by forming a group called The Relativez.

Marion Hugh "Suge" Knight Jr. is an American former music executive and the co-founder and CEO of Death Row Records, who was a central figure in gangsta rap's catapult to massive commercialization. This feat is attributed to the record label's first two album releases: Dr. Dre's The Chronic in 1992 and Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle in 1993.

Jerome Albert Evans Jr., known as Silkski, was an American rapper, songwriter, and music producer who is known from his affiliation with Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB) and the Wu-Tang Clan, whose affiliates are known as the Wu-Tang Killa Beez. Silkski is a PYN, Wu-Tang Management, Da Gutta Ent., Bungalo, Street Scholar, Universal Music Group artist and was a member of Brooklyn Zu. Silkski died October 28, 2016. He is survived by his wife Linnette Evans (Diamond), and four kids: Octavia Evans, Gauvauen Evans, Heidie Workneh, and Shadé Evans.
Richard Johnson, better known by his stage name Tweedy Bird Loc, was an American rapper. Johnson and producer Ronnie M. Phillips organized the hip hop project Bloods & Crips, a collaboration between members of the California-based Bloods and Crips street gangs. Johnson was a Crip himself, affiliated with the Kelly Park Compton set.

RedruM 781 was an American rapper from Inglewood, California. redruM 781, Tweedy Bird Loc and producer Ronnie Phillips organized hip hop project Bloods & Crips, collaboration between Bloods and Crips members. He is a Piru gang member himself. redruM 781 is also known for his key role on "Bangin' on Wax", he and his fellow female MC Bloody Mary were the two key players for getting this particular Bangin' on Wax project off the ground. He is cousin of the rapper Kurupt, with whom they had a long-time beef.
O.F.T.B. was an American hip hop group from the Watts district of Los Angeles, California. The group O.F.T.B. consisted of three founding actual gang members Kevin "Flipside" White, Sammy "Bust Stop" Williams, and Ronald "Low M.B." Watkins, who grew up in Nickerson Gardens Project, which is home to the notorious gang Bounty Hunter Bloods. They were signed to Big Beat Records where they released their debut album Straight Up Watts in 1992 with the hit single "Slangin' Dope".
