Riyadh Roberts [6] (born 23 December 1991), known professionally as YoungstaCPT (or simply YoungCPT or Youngsta Kaapstad), is a South African rapper, lyricist and songwriter. [7] He is known for incorporating details about his Cape Malay culture and his Cape Town roots in his music. [8] [9] YoungstaCPT has been described as "one of the most outspoken South African emcees of this generation". [10] He released his debut solo album 3T (Things Take Time) [11] in April 2018, which won Album of The Year at the 2019 South African Hip Hop Awards. [12] Prior to the release of 3T, YoungstaCPT had released 30 mixtapes, six extended plays and two collaborative albums since his debut in 2010. [13] [14]

In 2021, he landed his debut acting role on the second season of the Netflix series Blood & Water . [15] For the record YoungCPT has praise song which is directed to him by Bushbuckridge based rapper Stevence released in 2020. The King of Cape Flat released two joint projects with Shaney Jay which are Suffer For Beauty & Dreams Don't Pay Bills respectively. [16] [17]

Born in Cape Town and raised in Johannesburg, Forbes gained recognition after releasing his single "Victory Lap" from his debut studio album, Altar Ego (2011). He was one of the most popular South African musicians of his era and the best-selling South African hip hop artist of all-time. He is also regarded by many as one of the greatest South African rappers ever.

Jabulani Hadebe, known professionally as Sjava, is a South African singer, rapper, and actor. He began his acting career in 2005, starring in several drama series and films including uGugu no Andile (2009). <i>Touch My Blood</i> 2018 studio album by AKA

Touch My Blood is the third album released by South African rapper AKA. Released on 15 June 2018 through Beam Group in partnership with NYCE Entertainment, it is his first independent release and is the follow-up to his sophomore album, Levels. It features guest appearances from fellow South African artists including L-Tido, JR, Yanga Chief, Stogie T, Kwesta & Okmalumkoolkat, as well as a sole international appearance by Nigerian artist and producer KDDO. Production is handled by AKA, Master A Flat, Tweezy, Tazzy, Kiddominant, Anatii, Gemini Major, DJ Maphorisa, Makwa, Buks and additional production by Julian McGuire. Touch My Blood was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) on 25 June 2018, just one week into its release. On 9 November 2018, the album was certified platinum by RiSA four months after its release.

South African hip hop artist and record producer AKA has released four studio albums, two collaborative albums with Anatii as well as Costa Titch respectively, one extended play (EP), 42 singles and 23 music videos. AKA's music has been released on record labels Sony Music Entertainment Africa, Vth Season and Beam Group.

Sammie Marquez Benson, known professionally as Blac Youngsta, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He signed a recording contract with fellow Memphis-based rapper Yo Gotti's label Collective Music Group (CMG) in 2015, which served as an inprint of Epic Records two years later. He is best known for his 2017 single "Hip Hopper" and "Booty" the following year—the latter peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100. Strings and Bling is the second studio album by South African rapper Nasty C. It was released by Universal Music Group on July 6, 2018. At the 25th South African Music Awards the album won the Best Hip Hop album and Best produced album.

Amanda "Ami" Faku is a South African singer, performer and songwriter. Born and raised in the township of eZinyoka, Gqeberha. Faku rose to fame as a contestant on The Voice SA season 2 in 2017, prior getting recognition in the music industry.
