During the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines appeared in their seventh consecutive Summer Olympics. The country sent three competitors to their team with wild card entries. Athlete Kineke Alexander reprised her role as the nation's flag bearer for the second time at the opening ceremony. As Alexander entered her second Olympics, athlete Courtney Carl Williams and swimmer Tolga Akcayli debuted at the 2012 Olympics. Anas Sameer N.H. Abu-Yousuf was a Qatari swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. Abu-Yousuf was one of the youngest swimmers to compete at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He qualified for the men's 400 m freestyle by receiving a Universality place from FINA, in an entry time of 4:18.70. Swimming in heat one, he posted a lifetime best of 4:11.99 to pull off a fourth-place effort by exactly 10 seconds behind winner Miguel Molina of the Philippines. Abu-Yousuf failed to reach the top 8 final, as he placed forty-third overall on the first day of preliminaries.

Jean-Luc Zephir is a Saint Lucian swimmer. Zephir represented his country at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the men's 100 metre freestyle event. He competed in the men's 100 metre freestyle event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships. In 2019, Zephir was named to Saint Lucia's 2019 Pan American Games team.
Omiros Zagkas is a Cypriot swimmer. In 2010, he competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in the boys' 50 metre freestyle. In 2019, he represented Cyprus at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea and he finished in 60th place in the heats in the men's 50 metre freestyle event.
