Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali (born September 7, 1956), SAN is a Nigerian lawyer or law advocate, called to the Nigerian Bar in 1983. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. [1]
Yusuf Ali was born to Alhaji Bisiriyu Olayiwola Ali, of Ilare quarters Ifetedo, in Ife South Local Council of Osun state.
He has served as the chairman and Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Bar Journal. [2] He has authored many books including "Anatomy of Corruption In Nigeria: Issues, Challenges, And Solutions" [3] and "Two Decades Of Forensic Advocacy At The Inner Bar in Printprint". [4]
He is not only a legal icon but also a philanthropist, [5] making contributions to humanity through the vehicle of the Yusuf Ali Foundation.

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is a federal university in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. The university was founded in 1961 and classes commenced in October 1962 as the University of Ife by the regional government of Western Nigeria, which was led by Samuel Ladoke Akintola. It was renamed "Obafemi Awolowo University" on 12 May 1987, so by the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida led military administration, in honour of Obafemi Awolowo (1909–1987), the first premier of the Western Region of Nigeria, who initially thought of the idea of establishing the university.
The Ìgbómìnà are a subgroup of the Yoruba ethnic group, which originates from the north central and southwest Nigeria. They speak a dialect called Ìgbómìnà or Igbonna, classified among the Central Yoruba of the three major Yoruba dialectical areas.
