Yvonne Bajela is a British entrepreneur, a woman in venture capital and a board member of Innovate Finance. [1] [2] [3] [4] She is a founding principal of Impact X Capital and was selected as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2020. [5]

Education

Yvonne has a Bachelor of Arts/Science at Brunel University and Bachelor of Arts/Science in Strategy and Governance. She has a Master of Arts and Science from the University of Oxford. She advises the Mayor of London's Access to Finance program in addition to serving as a guest lecturer at the University of London. [6]

Career

An early-stage investment company called Impact X Capital has Yvonne Bajela as a founding member and investor. The mission of Impact X is to fund underrepresented business owners throughout Europe, and it plays a significant role in advancing inclusion and diversity in this sector. She is also a Non-Executive Director at City Gateway and just gained exposure on the board of HarbourVest Global Private Equity, which is listed on the FTSE 250.

At the Japanese investment behemoth Mitsui, where she oversaw investments totaling $200 million in companies including TransferWise, Yvonne worked as a senior investment manager before joining Impact X. Before switching careers, Yvonne worked as a strategist in a number of nations, including Israel, Kenya, and Japan, where she counseled rapidly expanding businesses on entering fiercely competitive international markets.

Yvonne has been highlighted in a number of media, including as Forbes, Management Today, and The Financial Times, as a major supporter of diversity and the UK fintech industry. She earned a spot on Forbes' list of the 25 Leading Black British People and was recognized as a rising star on the Black Powerlist last year. [7] [8] [9]
