Yvonne Nduom (born 9 July 1953) is a Ghanaian public figure, known chiefly as the wife of the leader of the Progressive People's Party. [1] [2] [3] She is currently the Executive Chairperson of Coconut Grove Hotels. [4] [5] [6]
She had her primary and secondary education at the OLA Catholic Girls School in Elmina and Archbishop Porter Girls Secondary School in Takoradi respectively. She also attended the St. Louis Secondary School for her sixth form education. She holds a BA in English and a master's degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Cape Coast and the University of Wisconsin. [7]
She received the Life Time Award In Hospitality Investment from the Ghana Tourism Authority in 2012. [8]
Yvonne is married to Paa Kwesi Nduom with four children, Nana Kweku Nduom, Edjah Kweku Nduom, Chief Nduom, and Nana Aba Nduom. [9]

A three-time candidate for president, he was the member of parliament for the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem constituency and served as minister of state in the Kufuor government.

Kodjo Amissah with the name St. Louis Secondary School, which was later changed to Archbishop Porter Girls. It welcomes girls of all religious denominations. The school is situated on a hill in Fijai, Takoradi and it has come to be known as the "Hill of Tranquility" for its peaceful and serene academic atmosphere.
Progressive People's Party (PPP) is a political party in Ghana. It was formed in 2012 by Paa Kwesi Nduom, a businessman, politician and a former presidential candidate for the Convention People's Party during the 2008 general election. The PPP pulled 64,267 popular votes in the 2012 general elections with Papa Kwesi Nduom as a flagbearer and Brigitte Dzogbenuku as the running mate, making it the third-largest party and the second-largest opposition party in Ghana.

Kwesi Nyantakyi is a Ghanaian banker, lawyer and former football administrator. He was the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) from 30 December 2005 until 7 June 2018. Nyantakyi officially resigned a day later. However, four hours to the release of his resignation letter FIFA had issued a statement announcing his ban from all football related activities for a period of 90 days pending investigations. Circumstances surrounding his resignation include a video released by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in which Nyantakyi was found taking a bribe and purporting to have the ability to "take over the whole country". In an interview with Super Sports South Africa a few days after the video of the investigation was slated to go public, Nyantakyi denied any wrongdoing regarding match fixing. On 30 October 2018 FIFA officially issued a statement that officially bans Kwesi Nantakyi from football related activities for life. In October 2020, the ban was reduced to 15 years after a reconsideration by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
General elections were held in Ghana on 7 December 2016 to elect a President and Members of Parliament. They had originally been scheduled for 7 November 2016, but the date was later rejected by Parliament. Ernestina Naadu Mills is a Ghanaian educator and former First Lady of Ghana. Charlotte Kesson-Smith Osei is the UN International Elections Commissioner, a Ghanaian lawyer and former chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana from 2015 until she was dismissed in June 2018 on grounds of financial malfeasance. Her dismissal has been challenged in the Supreme Court of Ghana by two separate writs. She became the first female to serve in the office of the Electoral Commission of Ghana since the independence of Ghana. Before her appointment she was the chairperson of the National Commission for Civic Education.
