The Crickets were an American rock and roll band from Lubbock, Texas, formed by singer-songwriter Buddy Holly in January 1957. Their first hit record, "That'll Be the Day", released in May 1957, peaked at number three on the Billboard Top 100 chart on September 16th, 1957. The sleeve of their first album, The "Chirping" Crickets, shows the band line-up at the time: Holly on lead vocals and lead guitar, Niki Sullivan on rhythm guitar, Jerry Allison on drums, and Joe B. Mauldin on bass. The Crickets helped set the template for subsequent rock bands, such as the Beatles, with their guitar-bass-drums line-up and the talent to write most of their own material. After Holly's death in 1959 the band continued to tour and record with other band members into the 21st century.
Lords of Acid is a Belgian/American electronic music group led by musician Praga Khan. They are best known for making songs with sexual lyrics and sexually explicit tracks. They debuted with the new beat single "I Sit on Acid" in 1988. Created by Praga Khan, Olivier Adams, and Jade 4U; their debut album, 1991's Lust, were critically acclaimed within the electronic music and dance music communities for their outrageously sexual lyrics and sound samples. Their second album, Voodoo-U (1994), features a more industrial sound. This was followed by Our Little Secret (1997), a b-side compilation titled Heaven Is an Orgasm (1998), and a remix album titled Expand Your Head (1999). In 2000 they released a more rock-influenced fourth album titled Farstucker and in 2003, after being in the business for fifteen years, released a greatest hits album called Greatest T*ts.
Still Cruisin' is the twenty-sixth studio album by the Beach Boys, their thirty-fifth official album, and their last release of the 1980s. It is also the last album of new material released during a brief return to Capitol Records.
Ten Years of Harmony is an official double album compilation album released by the Beach Boys in 1981, and spanning their entire Brother Records-era up to that point (1970–80), including some unreleased or rare material. Although the song "Darlin'" had originally been recorded in 1967 while the group was signed to Capitol Records, the version on Ten Years of Harmony was recorded live in 1973 for the album The Beach Boys in Concert.
Roxx Gang was an American glam metal band formed in 1982 in St. Petersburg, Florida. It was fronted by Kevin Steele, who formed the band along with guitarist Eric Carrell.
Seven Days in Sammystown is the third studio album by American new wave band Wall of Voodoo, released in 1985. This was the first Wall of Voodoo album to include Andy Prieboy on vocals and Ned Leukhardt on drums—following the departure of frontman Stan Ridgway and percussionist Joe Nanini—and also features the return of original bassist Bruce Moreland. It includes their cover version of Merle Travis' "Dark as a Dungeon". The track "Far Side of Crazy" is featured in the 1985 movie Head Office. The album reached No. 50 on the Australian charts.
Tamam Shud is an Australian psychedelic, progressive and surf rock band, which formed in Newcastle in 1964. The initial line-up were known as Four Strangers with Eric Connell on bass guitar, Dannie Davidson on drums, Gary Johns on rhythm guitar and Alex "Zac" Zytnik on lead guitar. At the end of that year Johns was replaced by Lindsay Bjerre on guitar and vocals as they trimmed their name to the Strangers. By late 1965 they had become the Sunsets. They took the name Tamam Shud in late 1967 after replacing Connell with Peter Barron on bass guitar. The group released two albums, Evolution (1969) – after which Tim Gaze replaced Zytnik on lead guitar – and Goolutionites and the Real People (1970) before disbanding in 1972. After a lengthy hiatus they reformed in 1993 to release a third album, Permanent Culture in 1994, but disbanded again in 1995. Beginning in 2008 the group worked together periodically on new material: it took eight years to complete their fourth album, Eight Years of Moonlight.
McGear is the second and final solo album by English singer Mike McGear, released in 1974. The album was a collaboration between McGear and his older brother Paul McCartney, who produced the record. All backing tracks on the album are performed by McCartney's band Wings, occasionally accompanied by various guest artists, although all lead vocals are sung by McGear.
Sell, Sell, Sell is the third studio album by British musician David Gray, released in April 1996 by EMI. Two promotional-only singles were released: "Faster Sooner Now" and "Late Night Radio".

The Voodoo Lounge Tour was a worldwide concert tour by the Rolling Stones to promote their 1994 album Voodoo Lounge. This was their first tour without bassist Bill Wyman, and their first with touring bassist Darryl Jones, as an additional musician. The tour grossed $320 million, replacing The Division Bell Tour by Pink Floyd as the highest grossing of any artist at that time. This was subsequently overtaken by a few other tours, but it remains the Rolling Stones' second highest grossing tour behind their 2005–2007 A Bigger Bang Tour.
No Sound But a Heart is Sheena Easton's eighth studio album, released in 1987 on the EMI America label. The album was issued in Canada, Mexico and Asian markets. The album consists of midtempo and ballad songs, including the single and video, "Eternity", written by Prince. The disc features Steve Perry from Journey on backing vocals on "Still in Love" and a duet with Eugene Wilde on "What If We Fall In Love".

The Division Bell Tour was the final concert tour by the English rock band Pink Floyd. It was performed in 1994 to support their album The Division Bell, which was released two days before the tour's start date. Though it was Pink Floyd's final tour, members of the band have continued to perform the band's songs on solo tours.

Risin' with the Blues is the last studio album released by American Blues musician Ike Turner. The album was released in the United States on September 12, 2006. It was produced by Turner's son, Ike Turner Jr., and Roger Nemour. The album was well received, receiving positive reviews, and winning the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album.
Suburban Voodoo is the second solo studio album by English singer-songwriter Paul Carrack. In between his previous solo album and this release, Carrack had been a member of Squeeze, singing lead on their 1981 hit "Tempted".
