Zachary Mills (born December 26, 1995) is an American former actor. He is known for his roles in the films, Hollywoodland (2006), Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007), Kit Kittredge: An American Girl (2008), and Super 8 (2011).
Zach was born in Lakewood, Ohio, to Kerry and Patrick. [1] [ failed verification ] His father is from Cleveland, and his mother is from New York, which is where Zach performed his first professional acting job at the age of 8. Zach has two older half-brothers who do not act.
Mills has appeared in multiple film and television productions. These include a brief appearance in the television series Scrubs [2] and guest starring roles in such shows as Malcolm in the Middle , [2] Eleventh Hour , [2] Numb3rs , [2] Ghost Whisperer [2] and October Road . [2] His first significant supporting role in a film was as Adrien Brody's son in the 2006 film, Hollywoodland . In 2007 he appeared in the Hallmark movie The Valley of Light, and that year would also mark his leading role in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium , in which he acted alongside Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman. In 2008 he appeared in a leading role in the film Kit Kittredge: An American Girl , and a supporting role as a news vendor in the Clint Eastwood-directed Changeling . In 2011, Zach played "Preston" in J. J. Abrams's Super 8 , as well as "Lucas Morganstern" in the Hub miniseries Clue .

Hollywoodland is a 2006 American mystery drama film directed by Allen Coulter and written by Paul Bernbaum. The story presents a fictionalized account of the circumstances surrounding the death of actor George Reeves, the star of the 1950s film Superman and the Mole Men and television series Adventures of Superman. Adrien Brody stars as a fictional character, Louis Simo, a private detective investigating Toni Mannix, who was involved in a long romantic relationship with Reeves and was the wife of MGM studio executive Eddie Mannix. Reeves had ended the affair and had become engaged to a younger woman, aspiring actress Leonore Lemmon.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is a 2007 children's fantasy comedy film written and directed by Zach Helm, produced by FilmColony, Mandate Pictures, Walden Media, Richard N. Gladstein and James Garavente, and with music composed by Alexandre Desplat and Aaron Zigman. The film stars Dustin Hoffman as the owner of a magical toy store and Natalie Portman as his store employee. A cameo by Kermit the Frog was the character's first major theatrical appearance since 1999's Muppets from Space.
