Zadi Diaz is an American producer and director, known for founding the web series Epic Fu , co-hosting the podcast New Mediacracy, and executive producer of YouTube Nation. She has won a number of Webby and Streamy Awards.
Zadi Diaz was born in Harlem, then grew up in the Washington Heights section of New York City, as well as the South Bronx. She is of Dominican descent. [1]
Zadi Diaz co-founded the podcast New Mediacracy in 2006. [2] Created with Steve Woolf and video blogger Steve Garfield, the podcast features candid discussions about online video and new media, and often features popular web series creators as guests. [3] In 2010, Chris McCaleb of Big Fantastic joined the podcast as a regular. Notable guests have included Felicia Day, Joe Penna, Illeana Douglas, John August and Paul Scheer.
She co-founded Epic Fu , which first premiered as JETSET (also referred to as Jet Set Show) on June 1, 2006, and was geared towards a young audience. Amanda Congdon and Andrew Baron were initially tied to the first few episodes of the production, [4] but the partnership dissolved with the Rocketboom split in July 2006.
In April 2007, JETSET was the first established web show to sign with web video studio Next New Networks (NNN). [5] In its tenure with NNN, the show grew from 30,000 to 40,000 views per episode to 3 million views a month. [6] After briefly being signed to West Coast digital studio Revision3 in June 2008, [7] Epic Fu is independently run and distributed through Blip.tv. [8]
From 2012 to 2013 Zadi lead creative development and production for the online originals team at Disney Interactive Media Group. There she developed and produced the web series Where's My Water?: Swampy's Underground Adventures, Talking Friends, Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story, Power Up, Explored, and other digital shorts and one-offs.
She has spoken at events such as the New Media Expo in 2008.

Rocketboom was a daily vlog produced by Andrew Baron in the format of a newscast with a comedic slant. Since 2004 Rocketboom has presented oddities, vlog excerpts, social and political commentary. The Rocketboom weblog and Apollo Pony featured supplemental material unfit for the vlog.

He has had numerous jobs in media companies involved in technology, most notably with TechTV and editor-in-chief of PC Magazine. He is also well known as the television host of TechTV's Fresh Gear for three years from 1998 to 2000.
Sorority Forever is a streaming television series created and produced by web production company Big Fantastic, the creators of SamHas7Friends and Prom Queen. Film director McG is an executive producer of the show. The first season of the series, which debuted September 8, 2008 on TheWB.com, followed four incoming freshmen in "the hottest sorority on campus". While it had some Gossip Girl elements to it, it "also contain(ed) a lot of mystery similar to Prom Queen."
LG15: The Resistance is a web television series produced by EQAL that took place within the LG15 Universe. The series was first announced on July 4, 2008, via the official behind-the-scenes LG15 blog, Inside. It premiered on September 16, 2008, at the New York Television Festival, and was first uploaded for public viewing on September 20, 2008. Daily content was provided in the form of video blogs, images, text blogs, and other information posted daily from the characters at LG15.com. On the following Saturday, all of the content from the previous week was compiled into one 6- to 10-minute episode to end that week's "chapter". Each week of the show featured music from a different artist.

Belmont was the co-host of the former TWiT.tv gaming show Game On! along with Brian Brushwood, and the former host of the monthly PlayStation 3-based video on demand program Qore. Additionally, she was the host for the Mahalo Daily podcast and a producer and associate editor for CNET Networks, Inc. where she produced, engineered, and co-hosted the podcast Buzz Out Loud.
CO-OP was a weekly video podcast produced, written and directed by Area 5 Media LLC and distributed by Revision3. The format of the show usually discusses two or three upcoming or recent video game releases in detail. Instead of using review scores, CO-OP uses a conversation style with industry representatives and video gaming journalists in order to "share in the critique, love and bashing".

The awards were held on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Paul Scheer served as the host of the presentation. Over 1,300 audience members were in attendance and the show was broadcast live online.

The Philip DeFranco Show, often abbreviated and referred to as the PDS, is a pop culture and news series created by American YouTube personality, Philip DeFranco, and his main claim to fame. The show has gone through several schedule changes through its lifetime, but as of 2023, airs weekly, Monday through Thursday. The first video with The Philip DeFranco Show included in its intro was uploaded on June 21, 2007. As DeFranco became increasingly popular, he signed with Revision3, which would eventually acquire all of DeFranco's assets, including the PDS. The Philip DeFranco Show has been sponsored by Netflix, Ting, and State Farm. The show has been nominated for and has won several awards that focus on internet culture and web series. In 2017, DeFranco purchased his assets back from Group Nine and the Philip DeFranco Show is now a part of the Philip DeFranco Network and produced by Rogue Rocket, DeFranco's production company.

Revision3 was a San Francisco-based multi-channel television network that created, produced and distributed streaming television shows on niche topics. Founded in 2005, it operated as a subsidiary of Discovery Digital Networks since 2012. The network produced technology and gaming oriented programming in tandem with traditional comedic, political, DIY, and movie-related content. On March 31, 2017, Discovery Communications closed the website.
