Zane Flores is an American college football quarterback for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Flores attended high school at Gretna located in Gretna, Nebraska. Coming out of high school, he was rated as a three-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys over Nebraska. [1]
During his first collegiate season in 2023, he did not play in any games, using the season to redshirt. [2] In the 2024, Flores did not appear in any games due a season ending lower leg injury. [3] Heading into the 2025 season, he competed with TCU transfer Hauss Hejny for the Cowboys starting quarterback job. [4] [5] Heading into week one, Flores lost the starting job, but an injury to Hejny forced him into the game, where he completed 13 of his 20 passes for 136 yards in a victory versus UT Martin. [6] After the game, it was announced that Hejny would be out for an extended period of times, giving Flores the starting job. [7]
