Zane Kalemba (born December 19, 1985) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who most recently for Manchester Storm in the Elite Ice Hockey League.

Kalemba grew up in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. He played youth hockey with the New Jersey Devils Youth Hockey Club where he won a USA Hockey Bantam National Championship in 2001. [1] He attended Bergen Catholic High School before transferring to the Hotchkiss School at the start of his sophomore year. [2]

Prior to turning professional, Kalemba attended the Princeton University where he played four seasons with the Princeton Tigers men's ice hockey team which competes in NCAA's Division I in the ECAC conference.

On March 8, 2018, Kalemba signed an emergency professional tryout contract with the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League after goaltender Michael Hutchinson's flight was delayed, causing him to arrive late to the game. [3]

ECAC Hockey US collegiate ice hockey conference

ECAC Hockey is one of the six conferences that compete in NCAA Division I ice hockey. The conference used to be affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, a consortium of over 300 colleges in the eastern United States. This relationship ended in 2004; however, the ECAC abbreviation was retained in the name of the hockey conference. ECAC Hockey is the only ice hockey conference with identical memberships in both its women's and men's divisions. Cornell has won the most ECAC men's hockey championships with 12, followed by Harvard at 11.

Neil Little Canadian ice hockey player

Leslie Neil Little, Jr. is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was a member of the Philadelphia Flyers organization nearly his entire professional career, helping backstop the Philadelphia Phantoms to two Calder Cup championships and playing in two career National Hockey League (NHL) games with the Flyers. Until 2015, he was an amateur scout for the Flyers. He is now a scout for the NHL Florida Panthers.

2019–20 NCAA Division I womens ice hockey season

The 2019–20 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season is the 19th season of competition in the National Collegiate division of NCAA women's ice hockey, the de facto equivalent of Division I in that sport. The season began in September 2019 and ended on March 10, 2020 following the conclusion of the ECAC Championship. The 2020 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey tournament at Agganis Arena in Boston which was supposed to be held March 20 and 22 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
