Zone 4 is an American record label founded by record producer Polow da Don in 2007, as an imprint of Universal Music Group's Interscope Records. [1]
The label was launched in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 16, 2007.[ citation needed ] Polow started with four acts – Keri, Rich, YV and i-15 – and added a fifth act in 2008 – the YouTube/Myspace artist Dan Talevski. In July 2009, Ester Dean was added to the roster and in the fall Jared Evan was signed. Polow signed Roscoe-Dash in January 2010.
Talevski left Zone 4/Interscope in September 2011.
Polow is as the company's chairman. [1] Mia A. Welsh (general manager), Krista Michalski (project manager) and Robert "Kaspa" Smith (marketing) oversee the daily business for Zone 4, Inc.
The label's first release was Rich Boy's first album, Rich Boy . Its second release was Keri Hilson's first album, In a Perfect World... , followed by Keri Hilson's second album, No Boys Allowed on December 17, 2010 and Lloyd's fourth album, King of Hearts , on July 5, 2011.

"Make Love" is a song performed by American recording artist and songwriter Keri Hilson. It was written by Jamal "Polow da Don" Jones, Ester Dean, and Jason Perry, and produced by Polow da Don and Perry for Hilson's debut studio album, In a Perfect World... (2009). The song was sent for urban adult contemporary airplay on June 23, 2009, as the fifth single from the album. Musically, "Make Love" is a downtempo R&B ballad. The song received mixed reviews from music critics; some of them criticized its long length and Hilson's vocals, while others named it one of the album's standouts.
Keri Lynn Hilson is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, she began her musical career as a songwriter and backing vocalist for other artists under the wing of record producer Anthony Dent in 2002. At the age of 14, Hilson secured a record deal with the girl group D'Signe, who disbanded without any releases. She attended Oxford College of Emory University while contributing to material for popular artists, including Britney Spears, Usher, Ciara, The Pussycat Dolls, and Mary J. Jamal Fincher Jones, known professionally as Polow da Don, is an American record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He began his career as a recording artist in the late 1990s, leaving college to pursue a career with the short-lived hip hop group Jim Crow. They signed with Epic Records in 1999 and released two albums—Crow's Nest (1999) and Right Quick (2001)—before being dropped from the label.

"Drop It Low" is the debut single by American singer and songwriter Ester Dean. The official version features vocals from R&B singer Chris Brown. This was also released as the second single from the soundtrack for the film More than a Game (2009). He is best known for his guest appearance alongside Wale on Waka Flocka Flame's 2010 single "No Hands," which peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He signed with Zone 4, Geffen, and Interscope Records to release his debut single, "All the Way Turnt Up", in January of that year, which peaked within the top 50 of the chart and preceded his debut studio album, Ready Set Go! (2010). Due to erroneous circumstances regarding its release, it failed to chart and was admitted by Roscoe Dash himself to be unfinished.
