She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 5th and 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role in Reloaded and Mr. and Mrs., respectively. In 2014, she won the Best Actress in a Drama award at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for playing "Nse" in Journey to Self.

The film was also selected as one of the 6 Nigerian films in the final list by the Nigerian Oscar Selection Committee for the Oscar 2021 submissions but was nominated in final Oscar submissions list.

King of Boys: The Return Of The King is a television limited series directed by Kemi Adetiba. It was released on 27 August 2021 on Netflix as a sequel to the 2018 Nigerian crime political thriller film, King of Boys. Sola Sobowale and Toni Tones reprise their roles as Eniola Salami with Reminisce, Illbliss, Akin Lewis, Osas Ighodaro and Keppy Ekpenyong also reprising their roles.
