Delhi Metropolitan Council election, 1972 was held in Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi to elect 56 councillors to the Delhi Metropolitan Council. [1] This council had no legislative powers, but only an advisory role in administration of the territory. [2]

The first elections for the Delhi Metropolitan Council were held in Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi in February 1967. L. K. Advani of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh was sworn in as the Chairman of the Council.

The 2022 Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council election took place on 5 May 2022. One third of councillors—23 out of 69—on Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council were elected. The election took place alongside other local elections across the United Kingdom.
