2008–09 MTN Domestic Championship

The MTN Domestic Championship is the premier List A cricket championship in South Africa. This was the 28th time the championship was contested. Each team plays each other twice in a home and away leg. The top four teams progress to the semi-finals, with the winners of the semi-finals going through to the final.

The CSA 4-Day Domestic Series is the domestic first class cricket competition of South Africa. The tournament is contested by teams from all nine provinces of South Africa.

The Regional Four Day Competition, formerly known as the Shell Shield, Red Stripe, Busta and Carib Beer Cup, is the West Indies's first-class cricket competition that's run by Cricket West Indies. In the 2013–2014 season the winner of the tournament was awarded the WICB President's Trophy while the winners of the knockout competition were awarded the George Headley/Everton Weekes trophy. In a few previous seasons the winners of the tournament were awarded the Headley/Weekes trophy. On from the 2016–17 season, the Competition was sponsored by Digicel and was known as the Digicel Four Day Championship. The Warriors are a Division 1 cricket team representing the Eastern Cape in South African domestic competitions. The Warriors take part in the CSA 4-Day Series first-class competition, the Momentum One-Day Cup and CSA T20 Challenge. The team's home venue is St George's Park in Port Elizabeth, as well as Buffalo Park in East London.

The 2009/10 MTN40 was a domestic List A cricket championship in South Africa. This was the 29th time the championship was contested. Each team plays each other twice in a home and away leg. The top four teams progress to the semi-finals, with the winners of the semi-finals going through to the final. Cricket South Africa has introduced trial rule changes; 40 overs per side, the batting team choosing powerplays, 12 players per side. The tournament has been rebranded from the MTN Domestic Championship to the MTN 40.

The 2012 Currie Cup Premier Division was the 74th season in the competition since it started in 1889 and was contested from 11 August to 27 October 2012. The tournament is the top tier of South Africa's premier domestic rugby union competition.

The 2013–14 Momentum One Day Cup was a domestic one-day cricket championship in South Africa. It was the 33rd time the championship was contested. The competition started on 10 October 2013 and the final took place on 15 November 2013 at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. The trophy was shared by the Cape Cobras and the Titans when the final was abandoned after fewer than 6 over were completed due to rain.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2017–18 Ranji Trophy</span> Cricket tournament

The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. Vidarbha's captain, Faiz Fazal, said that "winning the Ranji Trophy has been the biggest achievement in my career".

The 2017–18 Momentum One Day Cup was a domestic one-day cricket championship that was held in South Africa. It was the 37th time that the championship was contested. The competition started on 20 December 2017 and concluded with the final on 3 February 2018. Titans were the defending champions.

The 2017–18 Ram Slam T20 Challenge was the fifteenth season of the CSA T20 Challenge, established by Cricket South Africa. It started on 10 November 2017 and finished on 16 December 2017. Titans were the defending champions.

The 2020–21 Momentum One Day Cup was a domestic one-day cricket tournament that took place in South Africa in January and February 2021. Six teams took part in the tournament, split into two groups. Dolphins were the defending champions. It was the last season of franchise cricket, after Cricket South Africa announced a revamp to their domestic structure in March 2021.

The 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship was the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship of Test cricket. It started on 4 August 2021 and finished with the Final on 7–11 June 2023 at The Oval, London, played between Australia and India.
