The 2015 election for mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation was held on 30 April 2015. A total of 16 candidates participated in the election. The result was a victory for the Awami League candidate Annisul Huq, who received a 135,037-vote majority. However, the results were rejected by main opposition candidate, Tabith Awal of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. [1] The candidates got neutral symbol on this election.

The Green Party of New York is the affiliate of the Green Party of the United States in the U.S. state of New York. It was founded in 1992 and is a part of the Green Party movement. The Party has had ballot access at various points in its history. It regained ballot status for four years when Howie Hawkins received over 50,000 votes in the 2010 gubernatorial election and retained it for another four years in the 2014 election, when the party moved up to line D, the fourth line on state ballots, passing the Working Families and Independence parties, with 5 percent of the vote. It lost its status as a ballot-qualified political party in New York as of November 2020 when the law governing ballot access was changed requiring a larger number of votes in the Presidential and Gubernatorial elections.
Mahi Badruddoza Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi politician and former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Munshiganj-1 constituency. He is currently the joint secretary general of the party Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB). He is the son of former President of Bangladesh A. Q. M. Badruddoza Chowdhury.

Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) was the former self-governing corporation that was entrusted with the task of administering the municipal affairs of Dhaka. The incorporated area was divided into several wards. Each ward has an elected ward commissioner. The mayor of the city was elected by popular vote every five years, although the last mayoral election took place in 2002. The corporation was dissolved by the Local Government Amendment Bill 2011 on 29 November, passed in the Parliament of Bangladesh, and formally ceased to exist on 1 December 2011, following the President's approval, making way for a Dhaka North and a Dhaka South city corporations.
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) is one of the two municipal corporations in Dhaka created when the former Dhaka City Corporation was divided into two by the Local Government Amendment Bill 2011 on 29 November 2011, passed in the Parliament of Bangladesh, following the President's approval. Dhaka South has a long history, including that of European arrival and colonization. The area was initially 45 km2, but expanded in 2017 to 109.2 km2 and Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) published Population and Housing Census 2022 count at 4,299,345, giving the city a density of 39,371 people per km2.
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) or Dhaka Uttar City Corporation was created as an autonomous body that governs 54 northern wards of Dhaka to better manage local services, but has since added new areas. It is one of two municipal corporations in Dhaka, the other being Dhaka South City Corporation. Annisul Huq was the first mayor of the Dhaka North City Corporation, after being elected in April 2015. Md. Atiqul Islam is the current mayor of DNCC since 7 March 2019. The area was 82.69 km2 until 2017 when it underwent expansion to 197 km2. Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) published Population and Housing Census 2022 with 5,979,537 people residing in it, for average density of 30,353 people per km2.
The 2016 London mayoral election was held on 5 May 2016 to elect the Mayor of London, on the same day as the London Assembly election. It was the fifth election to the position of mayor, which was created in 2000 following a referendum in Greater London. The election used a supplementary vote system.
The Chicago mayoral election of 1995 resulted in the re-election of Democratic Party nominee incumbent Richard M. Daley over independent candidate Roland Burris, with 359,466 votes to Burris's 217,024. Daley won 60.1% of the total vote, winning by a landslide 24-point margin. The 2020 mayoral election of Dhaka North City Corporation was held on 1 February 2020. A total of 6 candidates participated in the election. The result was a victory for the Awami League candidate Atiqul Islam. However, the results were rejected by the main opposition candidate, Tabith Awal of Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
2015 Dhaka South City Corporation Election Were hold at 30 April 2015. The election saw a 48.40% turnout. A total of 20 candidate took part in the mayoral election. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate Mirza Abbas rejected the result and complained that the election was rigged. Sayeed Khokon won the election by a 241,005 vote majority. Three polling centers were suspended.
