The Nepal men's national cricket team represents the country of Nepal in International cricket and is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). They are Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1996. Nepal were awarded Twenty20 International (T20I) status by the ICC in June 2014 until the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier and earned One Day International (ODI) status in 2018.
Gyanendra Malla is a Nepalese former professional cricketer and the former captain of the Nepal national team. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his debut against Namibia in March 2006. He was one of the cricketers who played in Nepal's first One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.
The 2015 ICC World Cricket League Division Two was a cricket divisional tournament organised by the International Cricket Council. It formed part of the ICC World Cricket League and a qualification pathway for the ICC World Cup 2019.
Aarif Sheikh is a Nepalese cricketer, who has been a former vice-captain of the Nepal national under-19 cricket team, and currently plays for the senior team. An all-rounder, Aarif is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Hong Kong in May 2014.
The 2015–2017 ICC World Cricket League Championship was the second edition of the ICC World Cricket League Championship. It took place from 2015 until 2017, in parallel with the 2015-17 ICC Intercontinental Cup. Both Ireland and Afghanistan had been promoted to the main ICC ODI Championship and did not compete in this tournament. Instead, Kenya and Nepal were included in the tournament. The tournament was played in a round-robin format. All matches were recorded as List A matches, and those in which both teams had ODI status were also recorded as ODIs.
Karan K.C. is a Nepalese professional cricketer. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands in August 2018. Karan is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Uganda in January 2015.
Shane Snater is a Zimbabwean-born Dutch cricketer. He made his first-class debut for the Netherlands against Afghanistan in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 29 July 2016. He made his List A debut against Hong Kong in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 18 February 2017.
Dipendra Singh Airee is a Nepalese cricketer. In August 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first-ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands. He is regarded as one of the best all rounders in Nepal. During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Airee made an unbeaten record fastest fifty among ICC associate nations in T20I cricket by scoring 50* off just 9 balls against Mongolia. He was the third-highest run-scorer for Montreal Tigers during the Global T-20 League 2023 held in Canada.
Lalit Bhandari is a Nepalese cricketer. He made his List A debut for Nepal against the United Arab Emirates in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 6 December 2017. In January 2018, he was named in Nepal's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament.
Anil Kumar Sah is a Nepalese cricketer. He made his List A debut for Nepal in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament on 12 February 2018. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.
The 2019 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament held during October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams would qualify for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. The six teams finishing highest in the qualifier tournament joined Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the first group stage of the 2020 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The tournament formed part of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier series, with the Netherlands winning the final.
Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi is a Nepalese cricketer. He made his List A debut for Nepal against Zimbabwe in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier on 4 March 2018.
The Nepalese cricket team toured the Netherlands in August 2018 to play two One Day Internationals (ODIs) matches against the Dutch cricket team. They were the first ODI matches to be played by Nepal since they were awarded ODI status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) during the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. It was the first ODI series to be played in the Netherlands since 2013, when South Africa played a one-off match, and the first ODI matches to be played by the Netherlands since the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament.
Hidde C Overdijk is a Dutch cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Netherlands in the 2018 MCC Tri-Nation Series against the Marylebone Cricket Club on 29 July 2018. He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) on the same day, against Nepal. Earlier in the same month, he was named in the Netherlands' One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against Nepal, but he did not play.

The 2019–20 Singapore Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that was held from 27 September to 3 October 2019 in Singapore. It was a tri-nation series featuring Singapore, Nepal and Zimbabwe, with all the matches played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Singapore used the series as preparation for their first appearance in the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier in October 2019. It was the first T20I tri-series to be played in Singapore.
The 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier A was a cricket tournament that took place in February 2022 in Oman, as one of two global tournaments that together form the final stage of the qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Global Qualifiers were Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
The 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 international cricket tournament that took place in April 2021 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Malaysia and the Netherlands. The matches were all played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The tournament was played in a double round-robin format, followed by a final between the top two sides.
The 2021–22 Oman Quadrangular Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Oman in February 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Oman along with Ireland, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates. The series provided all four teams with preparation for the T20 World Cup Global Qualifier Group A, which began on 18 February 2022.
The 2021–22 Nepal T20I Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Nepal from 28 March to 4 April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Nepal along with Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. The matches were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. On 12 March 2022, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed all the fixtures.
