Zhao Xue is a Chinese chess player. She is the 24th Chinese person to achieve the title of Grandmaster. The Arena Armeec is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Sofia, Bulgaria. It has a seating capacity of 12,373. For concerts it can grow to 17,906. It was originally called Arena Sofia before the Bulgarian insurance company Armeec purchased the naming rights. World Curling Championships world championship

The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. There are men's, women's and mixed doubles championships, as well as junior and senior championships for each gender. There is also a world championship for wheelchair curling. The men's championship started in 1959, while the women's started in 1979. The mixed doubles championship was started in 2008. Since 2005, the men's and women's championships have been held in different venues, with Canada hosting one of the two championships every year: the men's championship in odd years, and the women's championship in even years. Canada has dominated both the men's and women's championships since their inception, although Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Scotland, the United States, Norway and China have all won at least one championship.

Richard Kruse British fencer

Richard Kruse is a British fencer who specialises in the foil discipline. He has represented Great Britain at the Summer Olympics four times. In 2015, he was part of the Great Britain team that shocked Olympic champions Italy to win the first European Games gold in team foil, the first British gold medal in a team fencing event at World or European level for fifty years. On the 24th of July, 2018, he won silver in the World Fencing Championships individual men's foil event in Wuxi, China, winning the first medal for a British individual event fencer since Bill Hoskyns took silver for the men's Épée event in the World Championships in Paris in 1965.
