The rankings were titled as the Road to Mallorca and were based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. [4] [5] The top 20 players on the rankings earned status to play on the 2023 European Tour (DP World Tour). [6]

This information is only shown for Challenge Tour members. It is rare for someone to accumulate many wins on the Challenge Tour as success at this level usually leads to promotion to the European Tour.

The European Tour, currently titled as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons, and legally the PGA European Tour or the European Tour Group, is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men's professional golf in Europe. The 2018 Challenge Tour was the 30th season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour.

The China Tour is a China-based men's professional golf tour run by the China Golf Association.
