The rankings were titled as the Road to Mallorca and were based on tournament results during the season, calculated using a points-based system. [3] [4] The top 21 players on the rankings earned status to play on the 2024 European Tour (DP World Tour). [5]

The European Tour, currently titled as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons, and legally the PGA European Tour or the European Tour Group, is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men’s professional golf in Europe.
