Dragon Ash is a Japanese rap rock group founded in 1996 by Kenji "KJ" Furuya and Makoto Sakurai. They were one of the first groups to popularize hip hop in Japan. Dragon Ash is a member of Mob Squad, which is an affiliation with the bands Source and Endive. Dragon Ash uses the French fleur-de-lis as their band logo/symbol.

Hideyuki Yokoi, known professionally as Zeebra, is a Japanese hip hop rapper and DJ who made his first appearance in 1995. Zeebra is a former member of the hip-hop group King Giddra, which also included DJ Oasis and K Dub Shine. He went on to pursue a solo career shortly after in 1997, and signed with the Future Shock record label.
Rip Slyme is a Japanese hip hop group. In its best known incarnation, it was primarily composed of four MCs and a DJ, Fumiya. Pes and Su have since parted ways with the group. Their sound is influenced by old-school hip hop and other western rappers such as The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, the Beastie Boys, DJ Premier and Leaders of the New School.
Exile is a 19-member Japanese boy band. Hiro is the group's leader, who debuted as a member of Zoo under For Life Music, but Exile have released their singles and albums under Avex Group's label Rhythm Zone. Hiro and Avex's president Max Matsuura came from the same high school. In 2003, the six original members of Exile founded the management and entertainment company LDH which has debuted many successful groups and soloists ever since. Exile is the representative group of the company.

"Beat It" is a song by American singer Michael Jackson from his sixth studio album, Thriller (1982). It was written and composed by Jackson and produced by Quincy Jones and co-produced by Jackson. Jones encouraged Jackson to include a rock song on the album. Jackson later said: "I wanted to write a song, the type of song that I would buy if I were to buy a rock song... and I wanted the children to really enjoy it—the school children as well as the college students." It includes a guitar solo by Eddie Van Halen.

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Japan was held on June 14, 2014 at the Maihama Amphitheater in Chiba. Hosted by Sayumi Michishige, T.M.Revolution, and W-inds, the ceremony honored the best Japanese and Western music and music videos released in Japan between March 1, 2013 and February 28, 2014. Beyoncé and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu were the most-nominated artists, with three nominations apiece. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu won two awards, for Album of the Year and Best Karaokee! Song respectively, and was the most-awarded artist of the night.

The discography of Japanese rock band Sekai no Owari consists of Five studio albums, two extended play, four video albums and twelve singles. After self-releasing their first extended play in 2009, Sekai no Owari debuted as an independent artist in 2010 under Lastrum Music Entertainment with the album Earth. After releasing a double A-side single "Tenshi to Akuma" / "Fantasy" at the end of 2010, Sekai no Owari parted with their previous label, signing with major label Toy's Factory. The group released their second album Entertainment in 2012, immediately after "Nemurihime", the band's first top five single on the Oricon singles charts.
"Havana" is a song recorded by Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello featuring fellow American rapper Young Thug. It was released on August 3, 2017, along with "OMG", from her solo debut album, Camila (2018). It was initially released as a promotional single, then was serviced to radio on September 8, 2017, as a single. Due to its rising success, "Havana" later became the official lead single of Camila, replacing "Crying in the Club". In November 2017, a remix version of the song with Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee was uploaded to Cabello's YouTube page. The first verse of the remix is sung in Spanish while Daddy Yankee replaces Young Thug's verse.
Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!, known in Japan as Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, abbreviated to PJSK or Proseka, subtitled Brand New World from its 3rd anniversary, is a rhythm game developed by Colorful Palette, a studio of CyberAgent's Craft Egg, who also was involved in development before it shifted to Colorful Palette, and published by Sega Corporation. The game is a spin-off from Sega's Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series, and features Crypton Future Media's virtual singers Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Len, MEIKO, and KAITO, alongside the cast of 20 original human characters that are split into five units, each with a unique theme. Set in the real world where Virtual Singers only exist as fiction, the characters come across another world called "SEKAI," where various "true feelings" are projected. The game was released for Android and Apple devices on September 30, 2020. It was developed with Unity, and uses the Piapro Studio NT engine for voice synthesis..
"Habit" is a song by Japanese pop band Sekai no Owari. The song was a hit in Japan, winning the Grand Prix at the 64th Japan Record Awards. The single was released digitally on April 28, 2022, and CD single was released on June 22.
"Pink Venom" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Blackpink. It was released on August 19, 2022, through YG Entertainment and Interscope Records, as the pre-release single from the group's second studio album, Born Pink (2022). It is a hip-hop, pop rap, dance and EDM song that incorporates Korean traditional instruments, 90s hip-hop and electropop inspired production. The track was written by its producer 24, R. Tee, and Ido, alongside Teddy and Danny Chung. Lyrically, it expresses Blackpink's confidence and deadly charm.
