Anandalok Puraskar

Anandalok Puraskar or Anandalok Awards [1] [2] ceremony is an award ceremony for Bengali film in India. [2] The Anandalok , only film magazine in Bengali language, published from Ananda Publishers and Ananda Bazar Patrika presents this award (Puraskar). The magazine was started on 25 January 1975 [3] and the awards ceremony was started in 1998. [3]

Mondo Meyer Upakhyan is a 2002 Indian Bengali-language film directed and written by Buddhadev Dasgupta. The film was also released under the English title A Tale of A Naughty Girl and French title Chroniques Indiennes. The film stars Samata Das in the title role. It also stars Tapas Paul, Rituparna Sengupta, Sreelekha Mitra, Sudipta Chakraborty and June Malia. The film won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2003.

Yuddho is a 2005 Indian action thriller film written and directed by Rabi Kinagi and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. The screenplay of the film was written by N.K. Salil. It is an unofficial remake of the 2000 Hindi film Kurukshetra. The story revolves around a police officer who is charged with false accusation of murdering his wife and imprisoned as he has been investigating a rape case that involves the younger brother of a powerful MLA. The officer then manages to evade the prison and get his revenge. It stars Mithun Chakraborty and Jeet for the first time together, along with Debashree Roy, Koel Mallick, Kaushik Banerjee, Bharat Kaul, and Rajatava Dutta.

A remake of the Telugu film Gamyam, Dui Prithibi brought two of the biggest stars of Bengali cinema, Jeet and Dev, together for the only time on the celluloid.

His also directed Franchise of Paglu 2 (2012).Shedin Dekha Hoyechilo (2010), which became one of the highest-grossing film of the year. He is popular for Bengali action comedy family movie. Koel Mallick was seen as a warrior queen for the first time in Bengali movie Arundhati which was one of the most expensive Bengali movies in 2014.

<i>Chirodini Tumi Je Amar 2</i> 2014 Indian film

Chirodini Tumi Je Amar 2 is a 2014 Indian Bengali-language romantic drama film directed by Soumik Chatterjee. It is a remake of the 2012 Tamil film Vazhakku Enn 18/9 directed by Balaji Sakthivel and serves as a spiritual sequel to Chirodini Tumi Je Amar. The film stars Arjun Chakrabarty and Urmila Mahanta. It portrays a romantic relationship between two lovers. The soundtrack to the film became very popular upon its release.
