Anthony Dent is an American songwriter and producer, best known for co-writing global hit "Survivor" for Destiny's Child, as well as "Friend of Mine" for Kelly Price. [1] [2] Originally a member of Bad Boy Records' famed production outfit The Hitmen, Dent left to create his own production company, State of Mind Muzic Inc., where he began mentoring and signing new artists, including Keri Hilson. At the age of 14, Hilson secured a record deal with the girl group D'Signe, which ultimately disbanded. She attended at Oxford College of Emory University while contributing to material for popular artists, including Britney Spears, Usher, Ciara, The Pussycat Dolls, and Mary J. Blige; she joined the songwriting-production group, the Clutch in 2004.

Part III is the third studio album by American R&B group 112. It was released by Bad Boy Records on March 20, 2001, in the United States. Unlike the previous releases, the album is described as having edgier, techno-flavored jams, resulting in a more modern and forward-sounding effort. 112 worked with musicians Anthony Dent, R. Kelly, Tim & Bob, Mario Winans, and Bad Boy head Sean Combs on the album, with band member Daron Jones helming production on the majority of Part III. It was recorded from 1993 to 1994 at The Hit Factory and D&D Studios in New York City. The partly autobiographical album tells the story of the rapper's experiences as a young criminal, and was the only studio album released during his lifetime, as he was murdered sixteen days before the release of his second album Life After Death in 1997. The album features a sole guest appearance from Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man.
