Apam johol or apam daun rambai is a traditional food, a sweetened rice cake, in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The food is wrapped in rambai leaves to preserve the aroma and to make it look good. It is sometimes eaten with rendang, sambal tumis and bean porridge. [2] It is usually served during breakfast or teatime.

Yamtuan, also known officially as Yang di-Pertuan Besar and unofficially as Grand Ruler, is the royal title of the ruler of the Malaysian State of Negeri Sembilan. The Grand Ruler of Negeri Sembilan is elected by a council of ruling chiefs in the state, or the Undangs. This royal practice has been followed since 1773. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation, a component party of the federal ruling BN but state opposition coalition which is aligned with another federal ruling PN coalition at both federal and state levels.
