Babili Amos Shili, popularly known by his stage name Aymos is a South African singer-songwriter. He is best known for the hit single "Emcimbini" which was produced by Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.

Early life and career

He started out by singing at church and in high school, he formed his own choir. [1]

In 2020, he released a collaborative album with Mas Musiq titled Shonamalanga. [2] The album was nominated at the 27th South African Music Awards for best amapiano album and best duo/group of the year. [3]

In September 2021, he released his debut album Yimi Lo. [4] The album features Kabza De Small and South African musicians Major League DJz, Josiah De Disciple and DBN Gogo. [5]

In May 2022, he made collaboration on African Lullabies Part 2, album by Platoon. [6]

His single "Fatela" with Ami Faku was released on October 28, 2022. The song was certified multi-platinum in South Africa. [7] [8]

RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE is an amapiano collaborative album by TRESOR, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. It was released on 9 April 2021 and features guest appearances from local South African musicians such as Tyler ICU, Mas Musiq and the Cape Town band Beatenberg. The 14-track album is composed of TRESOR's vocals, which are combined from genres such as amapiano, Kwassa kwassa, rumba, salsa, bubblegum and Afrobeats. The album also alternates between Swahili, French, English, Zulu and Lingala.

MFR Souls is a South African amapiano music duo founded in 2012 by Tumelo Nedondwe and Tumelo Mabe, both of whom are DJ and music producers from Katlehong in the East Rand of Johannesburg. Their hit single "Love You Tonight" was commercial success certified platinum in South Africa.

Asanda Lusaseni Mvana known professionally as Msaki, is a South African composer, singer, and songwriter. Born and grew up in East London, during her childhood she was involved in musical activities. Her career in music began in 2008, at the age of 20, when she was a member of alternative rock band while attending college.

Lethabo Sebetso, professionally known as Focalistic, is a South African rapper. He rose to prominence after his single "Ke Star", reached number 16 on Billboard Top Triller Global charts. "Uzozisola" is an amapiano lead single by South African DJ and record producer Mas Musiq from his third studio album Aut' eSharp (2021) released on 24 September 2021 through New Money Gang under exclusive license from Sony Music Entertainment Africa, it features guest appearances from singer Aymos and record producers Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa.

Nkosazana Nolwazi Kimberly Nzama professionally known as Nkosazana Daughter, is a South African vocalist, singer and songwriter. She gained prominence after releasing her 14-track debut album that featured Master KG, Kabza de Small, DJ Maphorisa, Chronical Deep, Tyler ICU, Major League DJz, Makhadzi, and Young Jonn, among others.She appeared on a collaboration "Sofa Silahlane" with Master KG and Lowsheen, released 12 May 2022 which reached number 1 on Apple Local iTunes Charts. In April 2022, the music video of 'Dali Nguwe' featuring Master KG reached 3 million views in three weeks.In June 2023, her debut studio album got released and charted number 34 on Spotify Top albums, and debuted number 3 in South Africa. She has performed in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, United States and several other countries.
