Bobby McCarty (born September 28, 1992) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 47 for Mike Harmon Racing and the No. 6 for JD Motorsports.
In 2018, McCarty would run his first full-time season in the series, signing with Nelson Motorsports. He would manage to earn his first victory at the first race of the season at Tri-County Motor Speedway. [1] By the seventh race of the 12 race season, he would manage to score three more wins. [2] By season's end, he had managed to lock up the championship, scoring his first championship in the series. [3]
In 2019, he would run full-time again for Nelson Motorsports. Despite having a self-called "up-and-down" season according to McCarty, by the final race at South Boston Speedway, he had managed to pull a nine-point lead over Josh Berry. [4] At race's end, he had managed to win his second straight championship in the series. [5]
During the 2021 CARS Late Model Stock Tour season, McCarty would manage to hold off Kaden Honeycutt in the final race at South Boston Speedway to take his third Late Model Stock division title. [6] [7]
On July 4, 2022, McCarty would announce that he would attempt to make his debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the 2022 Crayon 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, driving the No. 47 Chevrolet for Mike Harmon Racing. [8] However, McCarty would fail to qualify for the race, becoming the only non-qualifier for the race. Later in the season, he would make his official debut driving the No. 6 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports, qualifying by using an owner's points provisional in the last position, which was 38th. McCarty would eventually manage to finish in 31st. [9]

JR Motorsports is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, CARS Tour, and occasionally in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. The team is based in Mooresville, North Carolina, co-owned by former NASCAR Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., his sister Kelley Earnhardt Miller, Kelley’s husband and former racer L.W. Miller, and the owner of his former Cup Series team, Rick Hendrick. As of 2023, the team fields four full-time entries in the Xfinity Series: the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro SS full-time for Sam Mayer, the No. 7 Camaro full-time for Justin Allgaier, the No. 8 Camaro full-time for Sammy Smith, and the No. 9 Camaro full-time for Brandon Jones. The team also fields the No. 88 Camaro part-time for Miguel Paludo and team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Peyton Sellers is an American professional stock car racing driver. He won the 2005 and 2021 national championship of NASCAR's Weekly Racing Series. He competed for several seasons in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series.
John Edward "Jeb" Burton IV is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 27 Chevrolet Camaros for Jordan Anderson Racing. He is the son of Ward Burton, the nephew of Jeff Burton, and the cousin of Jeff's son Harrison Burton. He competed for several seasons as a regular driver at South Boston Speedway, an American racing circuit where his family is historically known for competing, as well as at Ace Speedway. Burton has raced in each of NASCAR's three national series.

The 2022 Food City 300 was the 26th stock car race of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series, the final race of the regular season, and the 41st iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, September 16, 2022, in Bristol, Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway, a 0.533 miles (0.858 km) permanent oval-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 300 laps to complete. Noah Gragson, driving for JR Motorsports, took advantage of the lead with 25 laps to go, and held off Brandon Jones for his eleventh career NASCAR Xfinity Series win, along with his sixth of the season, and his third win in a row. Gragson's teammate, Justin Allgaier, dominated most of the race, leading 148 laps and winning a stage. To fill out the podium, Austin Hill, driving for Richard Childress Racing, would finish 3rd, respectively.
Carson Wade Kvapil is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro for JR Motorsports, part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports, and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 28 Chevrolet SS for Pinnacle Racing Group. He is also part of the Drivers Edge Development program and is the son of 2003 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil and older brother of Super Late Model driver Caden Kvapil.
