Calhoun Falls State Park is a state park located on the shores of Lake Russell near the town of Calhoun Falls in Abbeville County, South Carolina.
Activities available at the park include picnicking, fishing, hiking, swimming, biking, and camping.
Amenities include a playground, a boat ramp, picnic shelters, tennis courts, a basketball court and a park store. Fishing rods and reels are available for rental at the park office. [1]
A marina offers boat slips available for rental on a yearly basis.
The park also manages McCalla State Natural Area, a 6,239 acres (25 km2) future backcountry park, located near the town of Lowndesville. It has a 10-mile trail for equestrian use with previous permission from Calhoun Falls State Park. [2]

Brunet Island State Park is a state park of Wisconsin, USA, featuring a 169-acre (68 ha) island in the Chippewa River. The remainder of the park's 1,225 acres (496 ha) are on the east bank of the river. It is noted for its numerous white-tailed deer and large eastern hemlock trees. The park is located just north of Cornell in Chippewa County in the Northern Highland region of Wisconsin. The Old Abe State Trail begins in the park and follows the riverbank south to the town of Chippewa Falls, with access to Lake Wissota State Park.
Gunpowder Falls State Park is a public recreation area comprising six non-contiguous areas covering 15,000 acres (6,100 ha) in northeastern Baltimore County and western Harford County, Maryland. The state park is primarily made up of the stream valleys of the Big and Little Gunpowder Falls and the Gunpowder River; its natural features range from tidal marshes to rugged interior slopes.
