Camden Hills Regional High School (CHRHS) is a public high school in the town of Rockport, Maine, United States. It is the sole public high school of the Five Town Community School District, which consists of Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Hope, and Appleton. [1]

Students

Camden Hills Regional High School educates approximately 690 students [2] in grades 9–12 from the Five Town CSD area. Students from other towns can pay tuition to attend the school.

The school normally accepts students from the Five Towns School District, composed of Appleton Village School, Camden-Rockport Middle School, Hope Elementary School, and Lincolnville Central School.

These feeder K–8 school districts are part of Maine School Administrative District 28 and School Union 69.

Academics

Camden Hills Regional High School offers English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, Health, Physical Education, Visual Arts, Personal Finance, Computer Science, World language (French, Spanish, and Latin), and technical courses through the Mid-Coast School of Technology. [3] A range of Advanced Placement classes are offered. There is a school-to-career program for juniors and seniors. 22 percent of the teachers at the school are Nationally Board Certified. [4] The school routinely has National Merit Semi-Finalists. [5]

Athletics

Camden Hills Regional High School offers cross country running, golf, mountain biking, soccer, field hockey, alpine and nordic skiing, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, softball, football, lacrosse, tennis, track and field, swimming, sailing, wrestling, and, as a club sport, Ultimate.

The mountain biking team is notable as the most decorated team in the school. During the 2023 season, it placed 2nd in the New England finals. The team rides mostly in XC races, and rides in optional downhill/enduro competitions.
