Christopher C Ward (born 1941) is a England former international lawn bowler. [2]
He won a bronze medal in the pairs with his younger brother David Ward at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. [3] He had earlier represented England in the pairs, at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. [4] [5]
In addition he has won four National titles including the singles in 1977 & 1982 [6] and won the singles at the British Isles Bowls Championships in 1983. [7] [8]
In addition to his brother David being an international player his sister Jayne Roylance was an international player and national champion. [9]
William Walker Wood MBE is a former Scottish professional bowls player, who has mainly competed in the outdoor or lawn form of the game. He is regarded as one of the leading bowlers of his generation and his list of achievements include appearing at eight Commonwealth Games and winning two gold medals and eight World Bowls Championship gold medals.
